AA was aware of all SMC financial commitments when he offered to buy it. Any loans tied to the SMC became the knowing responsibility of AA when he bought the SMC. If he wants to sell, he should put it up for sale & not try to force it, as a burden, on the local taxpayers. As I asked previously, would AA be trying to force the SMC onto HCC if he had had the business nous to make it a profitable company? Answer it: yes or no. If you have issues with your season ticket & where your money is used then you need to take it up with the club. The club are not paying the SMC any money that they have not freely agreed to pay. The SMC is a different concern to the club. Something you appear to have difficulty recognising.
Just saying the stadium has bein handle wrong from day one by the council. both clubs hull city and fc should pay a fair rent to the taxpayers and both pay they way.
HCC don't handle the stadium. The SMC handle it. If it's been handled wrong from day one, then it's been handled wrong by the SMC from day one & not HCC. A fair rent would mean both clubs paying different rents, which you appeared to think was unfair earlier in the thread.
Like i said handle badly from day one when the lease was drawn up by the council. The SMC couldnt of bein sold on to bartlett without the council signin it off first never mind a mortgage on it aswell. A fair rent with a basic per game fee with addons extras like staff and shop space
Has the rent ever changed? Have we always subsidised FC since the beginning? I doubt we have, so why are we apparently doing so now?
Hull fc terms have change twice with the smc over the years. Plus FC gates are down by around 4000 since 2010.
Let's get this straight, Hull FC have had their tenancy agreement re-negotiated twice in the 12 years that they've been tenants at the KC, despite not having ever had any part to play in the ownership or control of the SMC. Hull City have had no tenancy re-negotiations in the 12 years that they've been tenants at the KC despite their owners also owning & controlling the SMC If FC have had their rent lowered it's with the agreement of the owners of the SMC, who were also the owners of Hull City. City's gate receipts have increased by a far greater percentage than FCs have dropped, it's only fair that City pay more, furthermore it would appear that current & previous owners of Hull City agree with this.
Dont know what city rent is. But hull fc is a peppercorn rent up to 8000 then anything above is spilt 50/50 with the smc.
So is this down to **** management by the owners of the SMC or excellent negotiation skills by FC officials?
However the north stand was was jointly funded by Hull City Council and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF),
