please log in to view this image Hull City Supporters Trust has spent the past few weeks trying to find out what has happened to the £200,000 Away Supporters Initiative (ASI) fund Hull City receive from the Premier League for the 2014/15 season. This follows numerous complaints from our shareholders and concerns of the HCST board itself. The Hull City Supporters’ Trust has today issued a press release calling on Hull City to commit to action and transparency regarding the Premier League’s ASI Fund, a £200,000 fund provided by the Premier League to make way fans’ experience more affordable and pleasant. To date, only a fraction of the Fund has been spent and there are only a handful of away matches left to play – a totally unacceptable situation. The press release on the matter can read in full here - http://hullcitysupporterstrust.com/wp-content/uploads/HCST-Press-Release-ASI-Fund-260315.pdf
I didnt know the real name of the Trust is the Tigers Co-operative Limited. kinell Hull City Supporters’ Trust is the trading name of Tigers Co-operative Limited,
Why's that funny? A club can only have one trust. The Tigers Co-op existed since the 90s but was kept alive while dormant by a couple of people. If it had folded City wouldn't have been able to have another recognised trust. Instead it became the new trust, whose members voted for it to be called HCST. If I recall correctly, The Tigers Co-op was an alternative option members could have voted for, as was City Till We Die. The 'registered' name has to be the Tigers Co-Op though. If you're implying that City fans don't like the word Tiger then that's very wrong.
Do what Allam did and change the name of the Limited Company - may I suggest Hull City Cooperative Ltd
Radio Humberside say they've spoken to City about it who have claimed they'll be releasing details in the next few days. Hopefully it's not just more vague bollocks about spending it on 'experience' and/or delaying it even further. Nah, sure it won't be that.
Has the club received that money or is it available if requested? Shame on you Chazz, I found that funny ages ago! The whole "trust" is mixed messages. I'm still bemused about them avoiding the whole club, SMC and HCC thing too. I thought they were all about the community.
No No No Happy doesn't protest at all, he just critisies those who do on behalf of others. nothing but a WUM.
Where do you get that a club can only have one trust? It can have as many trusts as get formed. The only difference is that only one trust will be aided by Supporters Direct. Supporters Direct had a responcibility to support Tigers Co-op as a founding member of the SD. If Tigers Co-op had folded a new trust would have received the support of SD.
The messages are only mixed if you're a bit dim and nobody is going to believe you thought about anything.
So if there is no supporters trust a new one could not be formed with the support of the SD? Are you sure?
My point may be academic, but the fact is that there could be two trusts and if the Tigers coop had not merged but folded a new trust could have been supported by SD. I am simply correcting a post, not having a go.
