It was the best one ever yesterday morning, the one where Terry has to pick up the porno mags in a Wedding limo.

There is one truly tragic aspect to this story: the taxpayer continues to fund this nonsense.

The money would be better spent trying to educate young men on how to behave in life.

That one is a classic, you are right. I have every episode, so I'm lucky in the fact that I can pick and choose as I see fit. The Ray Daley years are much maligned, yet there are some nuggets to be found, and George Cole is always top dollar.

Yesterday I watched 'Minder on the Orient Express'.

Toby knows I am a raging right-wing nutcase, so I'm pretty confident he'll ignore my comments.

There can be no doubt the Police are to blame for some pretty heinous behaviours and cover-ups, yet, by and large, they do an excellent job in extremely difficult circumstances. And having managed many Haringey housing-estates, including Ferry Lane, and seen the level of guns and drugs present in these areas, I find it astounding that more of these incidents have not taken place.

That's probably down to the professionalism and dedication of the Police who are having to work under a tremendous strain <ok>

Ok, so Raul Moat was allowed to shoot a police officer in the face, was armed, but he got Gazza + chicken and a 6pack.

Duggan was shot before anything could be proved.

Moat was a proven threat and mental.

Duggan was just a petty little weed dealer/London rudeboy.

His only crime was being in possession of a gun, which as much as it's a ****y thing to do, is not worthy of being shot.

    Basically, you're wrong <ok>

No one who carries a gun can be described as 'petty'.

No one who throws a gun into bushes where it can be found by a passer-by, including a child, can be described as 'petty'.

No one who drives around in a car with known gangsters can be described as 'petty'.

There is/was nothing 'petty' about this guy.

You can't believe that surely? He's in possession of a gun, what do you think he's likely to do with it?

Do you think if he mugs some poor person that crosses his path he's going to think "oh this person won't give me money, but he doesn't deserve to be shot so I won't shoot him"?

    Get real man.

Who said "he threw his gun away when he was shot"?

You really are quite dense aren't you. I thought you read the report <confused>

T, you make it sound as though Moat was given special dispensation. Gazza was not allowed to pass the chicken and beers on to Moat; they did not sit and exchange anecdotes until sunrise.

Both Moat and Duggan were dangerous individuals. Both were shot dead. Moat was mentally ill. Duggan chose his route in life. But both placed themselves in highly charged situations that would ultimately end in death.

Sympathy can only be offered to the relatives of the dead men.
