What were they saying when they were winning all those titles again????.. Just one average (not bad) year and they are already bad friends. Red Bull should not be so nasty to Renault because it was Renault who helped gave them the four titles. Ok..maybe they didnt get things totally right last year and are off to a not very brilliant start this year, but in testing last year the car was much worse than this year. They could hardly do 10 laps before it broke down, but then they still performed throughout the season. In fact, they won three races and were the only team to win besides Mercedes. That wasn't so bad was it? So why the attitude of defeat, blame and complaining after only one race this year? I am sure they can recover a lot of performance during the year. Also why is the junior sister team performing, who does not allowed all the performance settings and all that like Red Bull is allowed ---- why are they out performing the senior team? They are performing so much better than Red Bull so far this year. Is it all engine that is causing the problems? I think not, I believe they are having problems with the car. Maybe because of Newey's lesser involvement with Red Bull or maybe because they lost some of their top engineers. Whatever it is...it is not just the engine. Just as in the case of Mercedes - people were saying it's the engine performance that is giving them that big advantage, but as we can clearly see now, it more than just the engine, it's the complete package. Oh... and Horner is too deceitful!!!
Setting myself up for greatest call ever.... although thats a bold statement for a driver in the fastest car by far.
Horner's very narcissistic: he takes all the credit when it's going well; blames everyone else when it's not. He's so oily, he'll be able to see his own reflection in himself. I've zero sympathy for him, as you can probably tell, but I do feel for the drivers and team members, who deserve better from him.
I'm just going to keep voting Vettel and one day (hopefully this year) I'll be right... People will say; 'what a masterful pick he made'
Why is Rosberg continuing with this nonsensical invitation to Vettel to Mercedes briefing? Isn't Hamilton enough of a distraction to him already? I wonder how long it will be before Mercedes asks him to put an end to those antics and concentrate on the race weekend or tell him if he likes Vettel at the team so much maybe he should swap places. Rosberg, we want you to challenge Hamilton for the wins not challenge Vettel in a battle of words that you are already losing.
How different is Malaysia to Melbourne then? People say Melbourne is unique- what are the key differences and how will it sort the pecking order out?
Good news, though not unexpected: Alonso and Bottas cleared to race. Looking forward to seeing them both and, although I shouldn't expect too much, I'm keen to see whether Fernando can get any more out of the McLaren. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/32023434
Interesting Alonso has a completely different view on why his accident happened. Worrying to have an unexplained problem with the McLaren's steering. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/32065185
" Fernando Alonso has rejected McLaren's verdict on the pre-season crash that left him concussed and said it was caused by a steering problem. The Spaniard has been passed fit to return to action at this weekend's Malaysian Grand Prix, where he spoke about the accident for the first time. Although the team said there was no sign of a failure, Alonso said the car "definitely had a steering problem". He also denied he had come round after the crash thinking he was 15. The two-time champion said that some of the official explanations about the incident given by both McLaren and his own management were "not a help"." " Among the early information relayed by the team was that the car may have been blown off course by strong gusting winds. Alonso said: "Definitely not. Even a hurricane will not move the car at that speed.""
Ok Rosberg has lost the plot now.... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/mo...his-head-during-the-Malaysian-Grand-Prix.html
Remember if it was a car issue then McHonda pay Alonso if wind then insurance pays. I wonder if that is why different explanations?
He's probably trying too hard to get liked. For the past couple of weeks it's been him making jokes and posting pictures with fans. Things he rarely does.
Didn't realise rain was predicted, that's a bummer because usually in Malaysia that means a washout and half points.
No...this is getting funnier by the minute.. Nico Rosberg has revealed his ingenious solution for coping with the heat and sweat of Malaysia – a women’s sanitary towel. Rosberg, who trails his team-mate Lewis Hamilton by seven points in the championship, said he has started putting the ‘device’ inside his helmet to stop sweat trickling down his eye while driving. The 29-year-old told Sky Sports: “I have an issue with my eye when I sweat a lot so that is what the headband is for. Actually I do have sort of a headband in my helmet, it is my trick, but I can tell you. • Malaysian Grand Prix: Five talking points "I put a woman's... erm... what do you call them? The thing you put in your underwear. Sanitary towel - I put that on my forehead in my helmet to take up the sweat." So very soon after a few more whippings from Lewis Hamilton I guess he will start to wear bra, panties, skirts and a wig to pass off as Nicole to get the upper hand on his team mate? Possibly? Sanitary napkins Rosberg? What next? Lol I think you are going a little crazy there bro And Vettel watch out... Debrief also means to remove underwear...
For reference: 2014 Hamilton lapped up to 8th (Bottas) and won by 17.3s. There was huge gaps throughout the field, 1-2-3-4-5-6 gaps being 17-26-36-47-84s. So before people talk of post race doom and gloom it was hardly a thriller last year. Not that thats much to shout about! To compared with 2014's FP1 and FP2 the best times were 1m40.7s and 1m39.9s
