First off, delighted it's the international break. Well deserved rest for many who have started the majority of our 39 league games thus far. Be good for the likes of McGoldrick, Ambrose to get perhaps nearer a comeback, and the likes of S.Hunt/ Wood/ Varney to gain a little match fitness.

Going to be a tough game this as we all know. If Wilson ended up being out that would be a massive plus.

Play like we did v Watford we won't lose this game.

How will we line up one wonders!? Despite this being on sky, I would imagine we should also see a very decent gate. Has to push 23,000 for this one you would hope......

    Come on you blues!

If I get the chance between now and then sure Warky.

How many do you think Bournemouth will bring? Sure it's sky, later kick off and a bit of a drive, but with their position anything less than 1600 would be pretty poor I'd say.

Bournemouth wont bring any more than 700!!
Bournemouth are a different proposition to Watford and imo far better attacking side!!
Confidence is high, really too tight to call, prob end up a draw.

Should be an interesting weekend - i'm down in Bournemouth that weekend, for a friends wedding who's a Cherries season ticket holder - i'm guessing i'll be the only town supporter in 'pub that night, so sohould be amusing.
Spoke to him the other day, and he's still adamant that Bournemouth won't finish n the top two, as they are a bunch of bottlers (and their luck with penalties and sending offs will surely run out soon)

The only real concern I have is them getting another dodgy penalty or two against us!

More like Watford/Derby to draw, and i'm more concerned about Wolves than Brentford, especially seeing as we have to play Wolves away.

" We will beat Wolves I have no doubts about that. "

Wouldn't be so sure! While we have a decent chance, Wolves over the past 15 games or so must be one of the most inform sides in the division. Very strong/ quick frontpair. Should Wolves end up in the play offs, wouldn't be surprised to see them win it.

Derby are now without one of their centre halves, Jake Buxton for the rest of the season. Would be hilarious if their wobble could continue and they miss out, considering the expensive loanees they have and the smugness of many of their fans.

Don’t forget the new footballing commandment apparently passed by Bournemouth this season: “Thou Shalt Not Tackle a Bournemouth Player”.

Expect record breaking levels of faux outrage, referee surounding and general player and manager whinging and gesticulating.

If Carlsberg could make a decent pint that would be a start! Exports alright but actual Carlsberg is up there with Froffters and Carling in the terrible pint category. Carlsberg really is grim.

A little closer to the game, how do you think we'll line up?

    Bilokowski

    Chambers / Smith / Berra / Fryers

    Tabb Skuse Bru

    Varney Murphy Wood/ Sears.... unsure.

Simply put, Varney has to start. I think Sears would be very unlucky to be sub considering Wood did very little v Watford but think Mick may give him another run with Sears as impact sub. I would like to see Chaplow start in place of Tabb. Wiliams clearly won't be ready to start - if properly fit I would swap Bishop for Bru however Bru covers one hell of a lot of ground, probably our highest a game and we won't see too much of the ball v Bournemouth. We actually had 53% v Watford which does show we've kept the ball a lot better of late. I was amazed it wasn't Watford 63% or something, that's a testimony to how hard we worked off the ball and players being a little braver on it.

With the two new loanees, this does make figuring out the bench that bit harder too! We have options galore now, certainly a player that was guaranteed a place in the 18 clearly won't be now as both loan signings will be straight in.

    Bench therefore = Gherken / Parr / Anderson / Williams / Bishop / Chaplow / S.Hunt. Sound about right?

I have however wondered now we have a left back who potentially is going to be a lot more solid defensively / much more positionally sound than Tyrone IF Mick may opt for Parr at RB. Varney is sound out wide in a front three from an attack / defensive perspective. I think half the reason Chambers is graveyard shift at RB is due to Tyrone's poor concentration / positional play. Likewise why he often has an experienced body in Tabb ahead of him.
