No converts tonight MITO?
So was that no action by either Mafia tonight? Or am I missing something?

Bloody serial killer taking out AFC, that means the serial killer is definitely someone who has been following the game.

Sorry Gooner but you're inactivity probably didn't help... did notice that no one really came in to save RHC though which would suggest to me he's not mafia?

I would have called it out as a recruit. "a new mafiosa is created tonight" and a picture representing which one. as thats not shown none occured
 
AFC getting smashed in the face with an axe may be a blessing for the townies...maybe the serial killer just got fed up with him picking townies to die <laugh> I knew I was right with the shoe thing <diva> 1-0 to me...you lot should listen to me more :grin:

Well no kills or recruitments that's for sure. So the Russians should be up to 50k now, They've gone 50 -> 0 -> 20 -> 10 -> 30 -> 50, ignoring any possible secret bullshit or them hacking/intimidating. So you'd assume they are looking to recruit again.

The Italians have gone 50 -> 70 -> 40 -> 60 -> 80, maybe they were saving to trying and kill the cop but would've been risky... Or they hacked the paper tonight and it wasn't actually hacked yesterday. Or they hacked it last night and decided to do nowt for some reason.

Quite the puzzle.

I thought Astro was the Journo too thanks to MITO's confirmation that the image was their idea <laugh>

Yup, pretty much reason I suspected it...

Going to have to look who is still alive and what each person might be doing...
 
I think I'm right in saying that we're now in a really peculiar position. The only player without a role is the only known role <laugh>

Left alive at present are...

- Two Italians; Don and Prostitute
- Two Russians; Goon and prostitute
- Serial Killer
- Five townies; Recruited Cop, Vigilante, Journalist, Grandmaster Mason and a normal townie

Known roles: Mikey is the normal townie.
 
So Astro voted for at different times, Magic, BobbyD, goonercymraeg and LHTN. He was also a very big proponent of killing inactives, so I think it's not outlandish to suggest no-one very inactive is in the Italian mafia.

Looks at the moment unless the paper comes up trumps we will have to be taking quite a leap of faith on our next lynch.

Any links in voting patterns?

Nozzer - known Russian voted for me (i know im innocent but unknown to rest) and Mikey (known innocent).
Astro known Italian - Voted for Less Hope which put him in danger of lynching, Nozzer & Magic. From this I'd suggest that Less Hope isn't an Italian mafia as would be too risky but could be Russian. Nozzer was opposition and jumping on with everyone else and Magic wasn't in danger so could be a bluff vote.
Danilo - was a recruited mafia so his votes don't matter in day 1.
 
Ouch, bye bye AFC. Seems like someone didn't like you putting them in the three way tie last night. RHC and Valley looking suspicious now! RHC was also voting a lot with astro earlier in the day IIRC, so could be a link there?

Good news is that astro's death proves the paper yesterday was hacked - I can't be the Italian Mafia goon if astro was the goon! Tho' do we know if the Mafia hacked the whole paper, or just the top part? Could be that the bit about Greez being the serial killer was the journo's original work and the Mafia bit got added on as extra? So maybe Greez was the target of the journo investigation after all?

That might explain why the serial killer took such a big risk going after the cop - trying to get the important kills in early before they can be identified?

Could Mikey not be th recruited cop? He was a witness day 1 when no recruited cop was involved but day 2 he wasn't when the recruited cop was brought into the game...?

If he's not... does that mean he's now the witness every night in which case I have a feeling he'll be next on the hitlist for mafia?
