...only this year the question seems bigger somehow

    Leading candidates must be
    Fielding
    Ayling
    Flint
    Korey Smith
    Matt Smith
    Freeman
    Wilbraham
    Bryan

    Answers on a postcard….

(PS my vote goes for Flint, narrowly above Freeman)

So difficult, the most consistent has been Flinty, so for that reason he gets my vote!

I'd go Freeman based on pure ability. He's too good to be in League 1.

However, Fielding received so much ****, and has completely turned things around. At the start of the season, most people on here wanted him gone or someone to become our new #1. Looking back, if that decision were to be made we probably wouldn't be in the position we are in now. He lacked confidence, but now that he has it back I think he's a great keeper for us, and could sustain the same level of quality in the Championship.

Korey Smith for the season so far.
    Freeman and Flint of late.

    BRR :
If Fielding's on the list it's only fair to add Wagstaff.

Ayling for me, I just think he has been superb (amongst a very good bunch) but his work very often goes unnoticed, his work rate is phenomenal
and he carries the ball from defence and very often that ends in decent attacks, he overlaps our wingback but is rarely caught out of position, never scared of a tackle and good with the ball at his feet.

    I like him a lot, if I were a manager he's a player I would want.

Port Vale goals when we beat them 3-1, flaps at a cross and they score from the rebound

    Feel free son.

Agree with Banksy on Ayling-a super player, but Flint just gets it from Freeman for me in what has become an outstanding group of players

Thanks - So Wagstaff is added to the list.

freeman for me- thought at the start of the season he might have been a bit of a lightweight, so wrong,! also fielding just got better and more confident as the seasons gone on.

Korey Smith, a flys bollock a head of Freeman, who is a fleas right bollock ahead of Flint closely followed by a rizzla thin rolling papers width of Ayling.

My wife says Wade Elliott because he's club captain and has been their rock during the beginning. (I think she secretly fancies him)

    Striker - Wilbs
    Striker - Freeman
    Midfielder - K Smith
    Defender - Flint
    Defender - Ayling
    Loanee - Matt Smith
    Local Boy - Joe Bryan

All deserve a mention, my own personal choice - Aden Flint.

Personally think Elliots been very disappointing this season. Started well as your wife said but being wrongly sent off against Swindle and since he hasn't been the same
