there are time we have players that are not great players but because what they say and the way they act we just love them and danil is one of them .
Explains why he's been on the bench recently. I doubt anyone could play a full 90mins at that level whilst pregnant
Watching Scotland v N. Ireland - Anya starts for Scotland, but Cathcart is on the bench for NI. Not surprised the Scots booed God Save the Queen, but I think it's unfair on countries that aren't England.
nnnn Why do you think it's "unfair" on Scotland? She is the constitutional monarch of Scotland as well as England. And I'm a Republican Englishman.

They did vote to stay in the United Kingdom and that is their song.
I would boo this anthem as well. It is not a `national' anthem in as much as it only has relevance to royalists and not to the country as a whole.
Because the vast majority of those who voted that way now realise what the others knew all along - that they were duped - and have since changed their minds.
And most of the scots dont care that oil price would have sent them down the river unless the rest of the uk baled them out .they are happy to take all the investment put in and the oil is theirs but the price will take a very long time to get back to the levels it was before.
You appear to have fallen into the trap set by the English media - Scotland is more than capable of standing on its own two feet with or without oil revenue. Per capita, they contribute more to UK's coffers than rUK - and that doesn't even take into account the creative accounting used by Westminster. If that doesn't entitle them to expect investment in return, I don't know what does. Sent down the river? I doubt that very much - apart from anything else, had the vote been for independence, independence would still have been a long way off. As for oil prices - you'll have to define 'a very long time'. Even today's prices are higher than some of those of only six years ago, and, on a month-by-month basis, are higher than those for every month bar one for a near twenty year period during the eighties and nineties. The price actually rose 6% today.
Has the current government carried out its devolution promises made during the independence campaign? (I can guess the answer).
Please put this particular discussion back on the Pure Politics thread - so that those of us, who were bored with it the first time round, can ignore it.........
