That's a pretty good post to be fair, one or two points are a little subjective, expressing your opinion but not necessarily the general consensus but overall it sums up why there's animosity from City fans to RL well. However personally I see no benefit to maintaining such a stance, grudges are counter-productive and in the small fish bowl that is Hull they only serve to hold the city back.
Don't talk such rubbish. The only time I ever go on an FC website is when I check out what crap they are writing about City. You really are deluded if you believe I am an eggchaser. Test me on my City knowledge if you like?
I like what you write mostly..... as for me not living around there ... I was born in Preston just outside the City .... Lived and worked in and around Hull until 2000 then moved to Cambridge and still had a season pass for that time 14 years... I have also had a season pass for Hull FC and Hull Vikings ... Now I live and work mostly in the Middle East but that certainly doesn't suppress my passion for my football team, if anything it strengthens it. It has never bothered me what others say really mainly because I can't change it.... I Try to affect what I can change You get Muppets on both sides of the coin.... Football and Rugby .... I cant change what the press say either so I just ignore it and get on with my life. I do have strong opinions about certain stuff and voice then sometimes. Thanks for your reply.
I post intelligent threads in the hope of some debate. My threads are then hijacked by idiots who have no intention of debating my original posts. I only ever respond to stupid comments. Are you going to ban Cheshire Ben who is an internet death troll? Are you comfortable with members like Cheshire who are openly urging me to kill myself? If so, you are another warped piece of scum.
I i must agree grudges are very counter productive It's people like City lover that are the cause of this. I get the impression that he gets into arguements with rugby. Fans and then vents his anger on here. To each his own and be it both then great also People like him drag the city down sad but true
I agree with the original post, the challenge cup draw was totally embarrassing for Hull as a sporting city, it was like a pub raffle.
