That has everything in it, rhyming, scratching and ragga vibes. Still no Sugarhill Gang though, who I saw live in Amsterdam. They were old as **** and the show sucked donkey balls but I was there.
I just loved the music from the late 80s the start of House Music and the whole Summer of Love Vibe. God I had the best times of my life back then and then I got a fooking Mortgage!
Everybody has the best times of their lives between 16 and 25, regardless of era. God only knows what the young'uns are into today though compared to how we grew up or am I just getting older
They couldn't afford them in Essex! It was either a Nova or a Fiesta MK 2 with the skirts and the pimped out windows.
Back in the early 90's I knew some Manc lads who would send me down tapes from 'Green Apple Radio' some **** hot cutting edge jungle mixes, I've lost most of them now but if you youtube 'green apple radio' some of the mixes are there.
It's about time somebody else waded in on this thread too. I would say he's a northern band type of boy.
It's been great fun on here tonight boys! And as we approach the witching hour here's something completely different!
