    His dad runs one of the biggest wineries in Canada, so between the free cases of wine we always had lying around, and the gifts of booze he'd get from other companies, he was a pretty valuable roommate to have through uni

    In hindsight I should have kept in closer touch with him after I moved here to Newcastle...those are the kinds of friends that should last a lifetime

    Well, ya, but they prefer whatever ready-made food is marked down at Tesco because it expires within 24hrs. I guess that works for some, but maybe I'm a bit of a food snob

    Truthfully I didn't take advantage of the wine much as I should have, and now I'm here, and he's off doing law school. But we could always count on eachother to be a wing-man (they can be hard to come by), and that shouldn't change once I move back
