I might have gone but I'm busy playing myself elsewhere. Hull United beat the top of the league team 3-1 on Saturday. The league table is hard to make sense of due to so many games in hand, but I think they just need one more point to guarantee the top 5 finish required for promotion. Although realistically they're up anyway, assuming I've got the promotion rules right.

Losing to bottom tier opponents underlines how bad our set up is. The 3G pitch itself won't make our lads a decent standard, but playing week in week out against decent u21 sides instead of the dross they currently play against will make a world of difference. If we go down, the youth investment won't happen and we'll never reach Cat 2. It's vital that this gets done now.
Max had a good game, and scored a great free kick for the first goal. We had at least 65% of possession, maybe a little more but didn't penetrate enough, it was an awful lot of side to side passes and taking an extra touch in front of goal. They took their chances and defended very well second half. We had a great chance to equalise at the death but Greg luer wasn't strong at the back post..
