Try Southampton, my mate had a parachute nicked from his car there. He offered some cash for it back, no questions asked, never got it. Now who do you sell a dodgy parachute to?
This is the beauty of a fine pair of headphones. Invest, plug in and play loudly. That way, you'd never even known it had happened and you would have happily plodded home in a bubble of your own created ignorance. That's what I do. Never do I walk the streets without my 'phones on to blot out the world around me.
No more or no less than any other decent sized town or City. Go to run down estates in any major conurbation and you'll find flutes, smack rats, alccies and ne'erdowells. However, Hull and surrounding areas has also got some fantastic places and people to go with it. One of the things that has always pissed me off about Hull though, is the way so many of it's local people slag the place off and generally do it down.
I love Hull and all it's ****ty areas too, I think City Lover needs to go visit some real ****ty areas and have a re-think if a few pissed up Eggchasers wind him up so much

I've been parking up down Hessle Road & walking to the game via Coltman St for ****ing years. I've never heard anybody shouting or abusing anybody from anywhere. I think you must just look like a type of **** who needs to be abused. ****.
What is City of Culture? I see it as a bunch of middle class metropolitan intellectuals patronising Hull and its people by awarding it some false title. We are even following an even bigger ****hole in Derry!!! Apart from Hull City I don't see a lot to be proud about Hull. A significant number of Hull people are ****s of the highest order. Who really benefits from this plastic C of C tag apart from a few outsiders and thick councillors who will ensure their own nests are feathered with extra salaries and fake job titles. If you're happy to promote a culture of crime, broken families, smackheads and drunken violence, then so be it. The cultural events put on will be a waste of time, effort and money. These events will be of NO relevance to Hull. NOT IN MY NAME!!!
