    Absolutely. He'll appeal, but he shouldn't, because it's pointless as he clearly did it deliberately so they'll never overturn it.

    There's only one person who knows whether it was intentional or not, bad as a stamp is, we've seen a lot worse go unpunished doesn't make it right but just shows the inconsistency yet again. Do we get the same independent regulatory commission that dealt with the Costa double stamp on Can and Skrtel and ruled it 'deliberate'?

    Not defending him... but when you watch it, his stride pattern doesn't change one bit.

    Does a forward have to get out the way if a goal keeper comes rushing out and slides in front of a player?

    True... just think where do you draw the line.

    IF you compare Gerrard's and Skrtel's stamp, one you can say was 100% a stamp and the other...? Well it's not as clear cut.
