You quoted an article I posted which refered to labour and perceived racist language with "arguably", to which I said I didn't find the language racist and you then pulled a senile move and accused me of not thinking ****** is a racist word, which had no baring on the series of quotes and replies.

And I used old man because it seemed like an old man manoeuvre to go off on such a tangent (senile) rather than trying to insult you <laugh>

Apologies if you were offended, wasn't my intention!

Just for clarification, I don't feel the need to defend everything any UKIP member has ever said. I am happy to vote for them based on my EU sceptic stance however I do not condone any racist comments made by anyone within any political party, Whether it's UKIP, Labour or any other party.

Judge the parties based on there policies, conviction and actions in government as if we judge them on there moral fibre we need to replace the entire government. Theres plenty of idiots within all political parties who make comments that would make the normal voter cringe.

And that isn't me saying people shouldn't be called up on it when they make stupid comments, they should and the parties should deal with those who step out of line.

Again though with no viable anti-EU alternative UKIP will continue to gain votes regardless of a certain racist element. And there being racist supporters, does not make it a racist party, or all the followers racist.

That's a story about an old man being arrested for drink driving when his wife had collapsed and had to have an ambulance called for her and he had to move the car as she was collapsed between it and another vehicle. His wife died within three months of the incident. Your a wrong-un if you think that's something to use as an attack on a political party.

Except that's not what the article says at all. It confirms no previous BNP candidate can stand for UKIP and goes on to talk about how UKIP have tried to lure BNP voters who didn't sit well with the racist agenda of the BNP but felt frustrated at immigration. He is proud to have offered people a non-racist alternative to the BNP.

That's a very different message to being proud to attract nazis to the party... Do you read the articles you post?

You obviously didn't read the part where it says he's an ex member of the National Front something he shares in common with the constituency chairman where Farage is PPC

What I would say to any 2nd or 3rd generation black, asian, jewish, hindu, muslim, oriental, turkish, greek or any other ethnic minority British person who supports UKIP bcos they agree with what they stand for, is imagine if UKIP had been around in this country and getting the support they are...when their grandparents or parents were arriving in this country.

I think it's more than that though - I'd say to them, Imagine a party that wants to use your ethnicity/heritage as a scapegoat for a lot of the ills of this country (together with the EU), while at the same time wanting to cut taxes for the rich, reduce legislation for the financial sector and damage the public sector. Why would you support a party like that?

Especially while although the majority of its voters aren't/may not be racists or any more racist than other groups, their leader and many of it's candidates have been recorded saying a lot of racist/sexist/homophobic statements.
