Just seen that all Glasgow police leave as been cancelled for today. For a ****ing friendly game of football
Blame FIFA, as it's their International calendar and the current break sees International teams able to play 2 matches during it, hence todays full fixture list.
here is some interesting data? The key stats Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham and champions Manchester City used the most non-UK players in the league. Argentines were the big movers, up to the third most represented non-UK country after France and Spain, and now outnumber Welsh players in the Premier League. The 2013-14 top eight used 44 new signings this season during the matches analysed by the study - and 33 were foreigners. A quarter of the 373 foreign players in the top flight played fewer than 10 games last season. Burnley used the most English players (13) while Chelsea, Stoke and Man City each used the least (three). In 2013-14 just five English players took part in all 38 matches. However if 36% of prem is english then Scottish players represent 4.87%, and welsh 2.45% of playing time, while Northern Ireland have 1.53%. Add those up and you get close on 45% The Championship saw the percentage of minutes by English players fall to 46.38% from 52.11% last season. this is very seriosu indeed you see the english question is not one thats replicated elsewhere. at lease spain and france and italy get to pick their "home grown" but england has a few wlesh, scottish and irsh boys floating about letching off our system. However one has to feel the championship clubs are far too rich if they can have SO MANY non nationals playing.

England squad Goalkeepers Fraser Forster (Southampton), Joe Hart (Man City) Defenders Leighton Baines (Everton), Gary Cahill (Chelsea), Nathaniel Clyne (Southampton), Kieran Gibbs (Arsenal), Phil Jagielka (Everton), Phil Jones (Man United), Luke Shaw (Man United), Chris Smalling (Man United), Kyle Walker (Tottenham) Midfielders Ross Barkley (Everton), Michael Carrick (Man United), Fabian Delph (Aston Villa), Jordan Henderson (Liverpool), Adam Lallana (Liverpool), James Milner (Man City), Raheem Sterling (Liverpool), Andros Townsend (Tottenham), Theo Walcott (Arsenal) Forwards Harry Kane (Tottenham), Wayne Rooney (Man United), Daniel Sturridge (Liverpool), Danny Welbeck (Arsenal)
Pretty standard squad, only ones to take any note is the inclusion of Kane and Carrick who had been dropped for a while. Not ot sure how Townsend and Walker deserve their places, both are terrible and have been awful this year but guess shows the lack of options out wide and at full back.
Hope Kane plays the two games in full despite Spurs not wanting him called up, England had no problem playing Sterling even after Rogers objecting and they called up Sturridge even though he was carrying an injury. #kaneforengland
Hes the form striker in the league. He has to play otherwise it's pointless bringing him along. If he doesn't get a game now, he never will!
Yeah I agree but the reasons used by Spurs and some pundits is that because he's English and young we shouldn't burn him out, they never gave a **** when it came to Sterling to the detriment of LFC.
He was gash even by his gash standards yesterday, I've no idea what he brings to your side. He looks like someone's dragged him out the stands and put a kit on him every time I've seen, as he just looks confused and somewhat bewildered.
