Clubs coming in for players who play well for lower placed clubs is what happens. All we can do is pay them well and remind them it's better to play most games than a few each season.
It's weird that our odds have gone from 7-2 to 5-2 given there's been an extra round of games played without any change to the points at the bottom.
Not many teams will give chelsea a two goal headstart then make the work that hard for the win. We'd have beaten most other teams today. Great team performance, proud of them today.
Great highlights here shows great game we actually had against the champions elect. http://hoofoot.com/?match=Hull_City_2_-_3_Chelsea_2015_03_22 CTID
fantastic display apart from the first nine minutes, everyone ran themselves into the ground and has a fan that's all I can ask, its a shame we didn't get a deserved point but one thing for sure is that we will need that effort for the rest of the season
Absolutely, some of the best & most memorable performances will be losses (4-3 at Man U, 3-2 FA Cup final) because we're playing against the best.
We battered them and deserved more from the game. Onwards and upwards, nothing to complain about, the lads were an absolute credit. More than I can say for the first half ****ers on here.
You just answered your own question. Players like these are not easy to get within 10 yards of. That's one of the reasons they're so expensive.
Fully agree with this, swap the keepers around today and we'd have three points right now. Some on here may not like to accept the fact but we do need a new keeper, Greegs inspires little confidence I'm afraid, he had very little to do today, only the save from Remy as far as I can remember, as he had no chance with the other two goals, but he ****ed it up.
Don't suppose there is much chance the FA will charge Chelsea for not controlling their players when they surrounded the Ref after that cheating bastard Costas fell over after Bruce took the ball off him by the corner flag. Saw the incident from two different positions on the TV and Bruce only made contact with the ball. At least the ref didn't fall for that one, unlike that other cheating bastards theatricals Willan, when Elmo touched his arm. Matic should of been sent off for that tackle on Aluko.
McGregor has cost us a point today. Allowing that Remy shot in was a really poor schoolboy error. He may shag ten birds a night, but right now he is our weakest link. The team performance deserved a point at the very least, with some excellent individual performances.
N'Doye really did a number on probably the best right back in the league - Ivanovic had a hard time on that side. Bruce was solid against Costa. Robertson was a great threat on his side as was Elmo on the right. I thought Abel's miss would have affected him negatively but he came back to score. Ramirez, Meyler (despite what the stupid woman near me thinks - more and more are turning against her moaning) and Livermore were immense battling against an outstanding midfield.
I couldn't watch the match here in Aus but seen the highlights and been going through comments and the MOM thread. Am I right in thinking N'Doye played in the midfield? If so how was that? Pretty excited that Hernandez and Ramirez played well! Bring on Swansea!
He started up front and we went 2-0 down playing 3-5-2/5-3-2. Bruce switched to four at the back putting McShane to right back and Elmo on the right wing and N'Doye went on the left wing leaving Abel up top supported by Gaston.
It was a good switch by Bruce, he's made some dodgy decisions this season, but I think he got everything bang on yesterday.
It stopped their full backs running forward and left less support for Costa and Hazard. I agree with you, great switch.
It was an immense performance from the lads and lest we forget, if Curtois hadn't made one of those three saves in a row we would have got a least a well deserved draw. The Chelsea simulation strutters definitely had one of their hardest games of the season.
