I know some people who sit near me in South Stand who don't sing because as one guy said when I asked him "you obviously haven't heard me sing I wouldn't inflict that on others, some I think are shy types.

I can't sing in tune but as I am not the shy retiring type I belt it out at full volume, people can like it or lump I really don't care.

I'm in West Stand Upper towards the South Stand end and both chants sounded as loud as usual to me.

I was pleasantly surprised. The song was no louder than normal, possibly cos we were 2-0 down and flat as a fart, but there was no booing. There was also a chorus of 'You said you'd sell up, so why won't you go?' Which is the first time there's been a song to that effect by more than one or two people.

I thought it was louder from all stands except the West Stand Upper. I know that it doesn't get much support up there normally, but today it was notably quite.

Whenever a chant takes place for any reason, you have got to factor in what's happening on the pitch. You only have to look to twitter and Blunderside to see that support of the Allams is dipping - where before they had support before, there are definitely fewer people now- there is a noticeably larger group of people now openly calling Allam Out.

You can't judge people's attitude by how loud a protest song is. We all love City regardless of our views on the name change and the first 10 minutes of that game felt like a kick in the nuts. 19.04 may have been quieter, but it was the only noise we made in that period.

Imagine we had scored our two goals before the 19 minute mark - do you really think it would have been as quiet?
