Yes, deniable. McGregor will think he did his best attempting to save a blasted shot from someone who was unmarked in an almost point-blank position in front of him. He'll be unhappy that the force of the shot hit his legs & trickled in and was unlucky it wasn't deflected away from the goal. He won't be thinking he should have saved it. If anything, he'll be pissed off with his defence, and rightly so. PS: I'm not trying to slag Mac or Dawson off OLM, I'm trying to point out misdirected blame and agree with your point about slagging anyone off after a great team performance.
.[/QUOTE] After a team performance like that, is the goalkeeping error the only thing you want to talk about? You're a very sad individual.
As far as I'm concerned, it's not the content but the manner of delivery. Knickerwetting kneejerk comments will always be derided. Try looking for some positives and comment on them too.
I'd give it a couple of hours, ideally the next day, it depends on how big a **** one wants to come across.
Forever if the criticism is in fact deserved and not grasping for straws after an excellent all-round team performance.
Couldn't really see the goal so no idea if McGregor should have done better (sounds like he should by all accounts) but I don't think he's very good and would definitely sign a better keeper if we stay up.
I've no great desire to beat the kid around the head, because he must be gutted tonight, but we need a new keeper for next season, too many shots from distance get through him....Hazard was about 25 yards out, yes he hit it well but McGregor had plenty of time to see it and get his angles right...The third one is one of those which do squirm in. I had my radio on listening to 5Live during the game and the pundit said he should have stopped it.. A bit harsh me thinks, but he could have done better on the first.
You come on here because you're supposed to support Hull City. That's the key word: SUPPORT. Don't come on here ****ing moaning about them, especially when they've put in a great performance. See everything through black and amber glasses. Be biased, partisan and irrational on behalf of your side; that's what supporting a team is all about, you snivelling ****ing arse-candles.
Nowt wrong with it Polly...Listen to the radio while watching the game. That way you don't hear most of the **** coming from the numpties in the cheap seats... PS..I kept the lads updated on the QPR v Everton score and when I told them Everton were doing us a favour they all congratulated me on my foresight....So there...
Do you class slagging the chairman off a measure of support for the club?! Hypocrite Im not slagging him off, im just sick to death of the guy!...if we get relegated this season, id largely blame mcgregor!... To blame the defence is absurd, they were excellent and did every asked. When the GK was called upon, he failed, simple as! If you think McGregor is a good GK, then you dont know what you're saying! The premier league is too big for him. FACT
