it's the only thing he did get right in that interview. He know it's a shambles. Anyone with half a braincell know's changing the name won't make a difference and may even have negative impact by pissing our existing fans off.
For Ehab to talk about 'FA bias' in their processes after that joke of a poll really did it for me. Unbelievable tosh ... he constantly talks in a series of non sequiturs.
Surely it would be easier for the Allams to speak to the council about the stadium than all this ****e they are creating
David Burns finally found a pair, fair play.Ehab didn't rant and yet still came across as utterly clueless.Whenever the Allams are put on the spot, their argument falls apart.
For my money Ehab is worse than the old man but he think he can smooth talk the media and conduct everything. They both think that anyone will come crawling for their money and will do exactly what they are told to. That's the reason why they can't get their heads around this whole business over the name, why won't these frustrating fans just bend the knee and take our money? They simply do not understand anyone they cannot buy, and that is when they can't explain themselves.
What was really ridiculously stupid in that interview, and unfortunately Burnsy didn't pick him up on it, was when EA stated that The FA's decision was subjective regarding the fact that the name change wasn't commercially viable and that they, The FA, had offered no proof of that fact. Do they really not understand that the point is that The FA don't NEED to offer proof to the contrary, it's the Allam's that need to offer proof that it IS commercially viable, and as yet they haven't done so. They really don't appear to be very good at any of this stuff at all, they must have some diabolically bad advisers.
I wonder if it has anything to do with the bloke who wrote into RH last week & accused RH of bias towards the Allams ?
If anybody still supports the Allams ( and I believe it's getting thinner) they really needs to get to the bathroom and wash the **** off their tongues that they've licked from his arse
They've been receiving messages accusing them of that for a year now, the reason things have changed, is that absolutely everyone can now see what an utter crock of ****e this name change bollocks is and it's no longer possible to avoid calling the owners out on it. It's dying a slow and painful death and the sooner someone puts the poor bastard out of it's misery, the better.
I think that interview with Ehab was a bit like our opening 9 minutes today torrid but he didn't make a game of it he just waffled with no answer to what was being thrown at him. Well done Burnsy for a change.
Meanwhile, at Assem & Ehabs Car Sales..... Ehab Trotter: "I've worked out that if I fill your cars fuel tank with piss it'll work 10 times better" Cillit Bang: "Prove it" ET: "Don't need to. My Dad told me" CB: "but I need proof before to tamper with my car" ET: "Naaah you don't" CB: "I think I do need proof!" ET: "Naaah you don't- my Dad said its fine" CB: "Piss off you ****ing chancer!" ET: "Right! I'm letting your tyres down!!!"
Ignoring the elephant in the room that is the spat with the Council, my understanding is, we're one of a number of similar clubs competing for sponsorship deals. The club's are graded against a criteria, that needs something to make us stand out over the others. The Allams argue Hull Tigers does that. That begs the question, why not keep the Hull City name, but market us as 'The Tigers'. 'The Tigers' represents Hull City. Hull Tigers represents nothing other than greed, arrogance and a disregard for fans and football culture.
Just cos Assem says it doesn't make it true. The FA have processes and they've been exhausted at the insistence of the Allams. They don't have to reconsider the failed application.
Fully agree Dutch but an Egyptian, or two in this case, will never back down, however in this case that will undoubtedly prove to be their ultimate downfall. The further they dig their heels in the more ridiculous they appear to be, they're gathering opposers at a rate of knots now. Initially, as we all know, it was all about getting back at the Hull City Council, however they now have just about every sound minded football supporter in the country opposing them, as well as The FA, and now, eventually, the local media, even at the obvious risk of being banned from the stadium. Personally I can't stomach the likes of Brady and Geraghty but even their politics appear to be more sane than those of the Allam family at present.
At last Burnsy has done the right thing, we now just need the Daily Fail to follow and people will see the madness of Melton in their full glory. He won't sell because the moneys too good and he will not back down on the lunancy . The thing is there is only one winner and it isn't and never will be his non vocal minority .
