N'Doye Livermore Robertson Very difficult choice with excellent performances from all of the outfield players - if City can carry the same level of urgency forwards they'll definitely pick up points.
Difficult one this as they all put a shift in. 1. Alex Bruce ( if for no other reason than that tackle on the Spanish Rent Boy) 2. Gaston Ramirez for his poise and close control in the middle of the park. 3. Dame N'Doye for his selfless, tireless and effective performance on the left. Honourable mentions for Hernandez and Robertson as well. Special mention to the Lino in front of the West Stand South end in the first half who despite clearly seeing what was going on not 10 yards away, failed to flag when Dego Costa whacked Alex Bruce across the back of the neck with his forearm as he ran next to him towards the penalty area.
1) N'Doyle 2)Ramirez 3) Livermore The midfield were good today, have to agree with an early post we've got to keep this pace, mobility, and intensity up in midfield, we looked a team that's too to good to go down today, as good as Huddleston is on the ball we do look a better team without him, for me he does have a tendency to slow the game down and take the pace and intensity out of the game,
Ramirez N'Doye Livermore Several players only just miss out, Robertson, Elmo and Meyler in particular. We need to approach all of our remaining games the way we did the last 84 minutes today and we'll comfortably get the points we need to survive this season.
And then Costa turned towards the ref and implied that Bruce had had a go at him! He's a brilliant player but really is an odious cheat.
He really didn't I'm afraid. Slow off the mark, not enough closing down, wayward and wasteful with his passing, pathetic with his shooting and zero penetration when the opportunity arose. A few tackles and headers won does not a good game make.
N'Doye Ramirez Hernandez Difficult to choose just three, great team effort and a big "well done" to Steve and the backroom staff. Funniest moment for me was when Alex tried to make Costa part of the advertising hoardings, well done son!.
I'm one of those ''fans'' who has watched every game he has played at Home. I'm entitled to my opinion and 1 decent game every 5 starts is not Premiership standard. He continues to flatter to deceive and is poor at best
Goodness me, this is a difficult choice this week. 1. N'Doye - so, so good, 2. Elmo - excellent and great positioning to score, 3. McShane - perhaps never what you'd call "sublime", but defended without error as far as I could see and his movement forward and passes into midfield in the second half really got us into consistently dangerous positions when we were looking for a third. ( Also, after a performance like that it was good to be able to pick one player from attack , midfield and defence ).
From a full TV match replay. 1. Ramirez 2. N'Doye. 3. Livermore. Winner of individual dive of the match................Elmohamody.
They all had a great game against the League Leaders so it was hard to choose but my choice would be: N'Doye - put in a real shift. Elmo - was at his best in this game. Robertson - a work in progress but this lad has got something that I am sure the 'big' teams will want in the summer. Watch for BIG offers.
You are entitled to your opinion but don't try and push that opinion onto others without a counter- opinion being given in return.
