Made my nerves bad! Couldn't have had a better start, but within 20 minutes it was chewing fingernails for the rest of the game! As has been said, changes a plenty will need to be made close season , but I would like to keep Branna!
Very harsh. Courtois has become such a liability that you need Cech. Your valuation of Cahill is hilarious. United won't sign him and PSG are OK for centre halves so you'll be lucky to get 15million.
You guys paid £16m for Rojo. Cahill is as good, in fact very similar players imo. Both can be very good, but dodgy positionally. You are probably right tho, maybe £15m for Cahill. Someone like Liverpool would pay that for him imo.
You missed the point, we overpaid and "settled" for players as we had to last summer, hopefully we won't have to next season so we won't be paying big for a player like Cahill. As it goes, I rate Rojo higher than Cahill. They're both prone to dropping clangers but Rojo is a more versatile and technically gifted player. I think Cahill found his level at his last couple of clubs. Given the league is won it's a good time to give Zouma a run of games. It won't happen as Jose is a bit of a coward in these situations as he rarely thinks medium to long term.
Well Ivan put in a total shocker and looks dead on his feet, no surprise there. This from one of our seasons best. Jose should be kicked up the arse all the way to the Bridge for his predictable, dreadful selections. Ramires is absolutely, totally useless doing everything except out and out attack. He can't pass, he gives the ball away constantly, can't set anyone up and should be top of the list for off season sale. Add Oscar and Cahill to that list and lend Willian to a team that can teach him to pass. Fabregas, what can you say, another inept poor display, far too many now. If he's the answer, we're asking the wrong question. Matic is having to do all the work because JT and Cahill look like draft horses against speed and pace. Play one, not both. Costa looks better and better, never quits. Hazard is doing ALL the work and it's just a matter of time until he breaks down from overuse. Then we are really buggered. Our class got us through despite the managers set up. It should be the other way around like the start of the season.

I didn't see the game unfortunately (have seen the goals). Iva has been garbage for weeks, i thought he was dreadful against Soton apart from the assist and i've been surprised recently to see him constantly picked. Cahill too has had a poor season and I imagine Zouma will come back in for the Stoke game. That central midfield position is still a problem for us. I like Fabregas a lot and he's a wonderful player but i just don't know if he's disciplined enough to play in a two. If it was a three with one other then that would be perfect. Unfortunately Ramires and Mikel don't really offer much and i'd like to see us bring in somebody to play alongside Matic (IMO should be Khedira). However having that said that, for as long as Eden Hazard plays for us though we've got a chance of beating anyone cause the guy is an absolute genius. Massive three points and another game down. The teams below us are running out of games to catch us. I think we could win the title by only having to win 5 from our last 9.
Completely agree with this, and that we should revert to a midfield 3 and play a 4-3-3 similar to back in the day when we won our back to back titles.
