Outstanding effort and character to fight back and still create chances despite being a man down. Didn't see the Stevie incident, but the ref for me has to take into account the atmosphere in such a big game.
Don't agree. We've been brilliant recently and the new signings have really started to make an impact. The new formation has made us a lot more solid at the back and we got ourselves back into this game in the 1st half and it was all set up to be a good game until captain fantastic decided to try and ruin his LFC legacy by not only getting himself sent off in his final appearance against United, but potentially ruin our chances for a top 4 finish.
The handball has to be intentional for it to be a yellow. It was accidental as he thought it had gone out. Good refereeing. Red for Gerard definite. Stupid. Jones I think was a yellow as it was high speed and not as bad as Hendersonville five rolls made it look. could easily have seen red and couldn't complain.
It's made us solid because we've got 5 ****ing defenders! I would expect it to! As a result it's deprived us of an extra midfielder which means we end up getting bossed by piece of piss teams like Swansea. And we've not been brilliant at all!! Coutinho has been brilliant.
