    why all this defoe hate? hes not exactly world class but hes pretty bloody decent and would be a huge improvement on our strike force hes proven at this level and he can score goals, personally i would love to have JD at NUFC and would be happy if we paid anywhere up to 10m on him depending on his wages of course, he may not fit our wage structure but if he did he would be a terrific signing, hes not in form at the moment but he has class and after rooney he is probably the best english striker out there maybe you could argue bent is better. hes quick strong and has a real eye for goal, hes a natural goalscorer

    I'd seriously go for both of them, Defoe is far better than Lover/Shola/Best so it's a no brainer to me.
