We'll it ain't pretty but we're creating more chances. Watmore would relish the counter possibilities in this game.

Playing quite well, definitely shifting it quicker. Weird he's got Gomez right, Larsson centre and Rodwell right in the 3.

They've had more possession but we've looked a bigger threat. Positive start.

Fletch is not offering anything. Wickham and Defoe look good....well movement wise anyway. Really can't understand what has happened to Fletch he just looks lost on a pitch these days.

Sums it up. Hasn't been great but it's better that recent weeks! Watmore would gave a field day here. They can't handle defoes waning pace. Imagine what a fit fast youngster would do!!

Decent enough I think the front three have looked good in glimpses and have helped out more around the park whickham in particular Defoe's miss was inexplicable let's more the next one flys in!

Somebody needs to tell West Ham's wingers that Carroll isn't on the pitch.

He'd rip them to shreds mate, he likes running from deep, loads of chances of doing this here. he must itching to get on, he's what we need to speed up our counter attacks.

I agree but Defoes's runs are very clever as well and give him yards. We've had fast players before like that kid we sold to Man Utd but he didn't have the brain to go with thepace.

I'd be happy with a 0-0 at this stage, a draw away a good start before the mags

Watmore won't hang off the last man, he'll go back and help defend and bring the ball out himself. We need Watmore triggering the counter attacks and Defoe finishing them. They're made for each other counter attack wise.
