The fans are part of the club aren't they, so you can't seperate the two. One doesn't come without the other. Their fans acted like we were some big rivals. Shouting abuse, having fights etc. As others have said I use to like them but now it's just meh.
Just got back. Fraser Super Kelv . Graziano played well as a CF, held the ball up well but couldn't bloody score again. Long was very good, as was Mane. Toby was a beast at the back. But I have to say for Kelvin to come off the bench after watching Fraser getting stretchered off and pull off those two crucial and great saves was fantastic. #legend.
Anybody got the whole match. I was only able to see the last 5 minutes. Footbalorgin's servers seem to have gone down. Didn't Saints Alive have a link for the recorded Chelsea game..?
And a few other people on here have the same skill/opinion. Anyway, that exchange has obliterated my question, so I'll ask it again: Anybody got the whole match. I was only able to see the last 5 minutes. Footbalorgin's servers seem to have gone down. Didn't Saints Alive have a link for the recorded Chelsea game..?
I am just worried when a pee roller goes right near the near post. Kelvin has always been a good shot stopper.
I wouldn't really call it skill. Some, like Tom have family that supporter Bournemouth. So of course he will want to see them do well. Every one has a different opinion and even people with the same opinion have that opinion for different reasons.
Some time since Kelv played a game...excellent from him when he probably thought he was unlikely to play again. Always good enough for a game or two....my knees are shaking a bit if he has to finish the season. Still we are safe from relegation
There was one deflected shot from Boyd that bobbled towards Kelv's near post at around 3mph. I was worried then...
I also want to say I have the utmost respect for Sean Dyche. He applauded as loudly as any fan when Fraser was stretchered off. He's a good manager and a top man. Hope Burnley stay up.
Our defence will have to adjust when playing in front of Kelvin. Keep the opposition to long shots and remember that Kelvin will get to any ball in his own good time, but it may be safer to clear it. Fonte...no dodgy back passes without giving Kelv a phone call first.
Tough game in the first half, and we were all over the place. Bringing on Victor was a great change, as we controlled the game second half. Thought Steven Davis really stepped up in the second period, and the link up between him and Bertrand for the 2nd goal was excellent, albeit it was finished with an OG. Long was again very bright, and seems a really good lad too. Pelle needs confidence, and the reaction of the crowd in the 1st half was very negative.
First half we weathered the storm ... Burnley were the better side, and if not for some Kelvin Davis heroics (how many times have we said that the last 5 years or so!?), we'd have been 3 down at HT. 2nd Half, Victor came on and it was game over really. Burnley never really troubled us like they did first half.
Yep; the PL is better for the presence of Burnley and Dyche. Watching West Ham/Sunderland solely because I'm hoping that Sunderland fails to increase the gap.
