Subs: Szcz, Gibbs, bellerin, mertesacker flamini, rosicky, Walcott Despite limited forward options on the bench both rosicky and Walcott will add energy and rejuvenate the forward momentum if the team are dipping later in the game. Gibbs is a good option too as he can be used to play with monreal to sure up our defense or further forward to add pace to our attack since our options are limited at the moment.
With Newcastle playing a RB at CB this could be a game for Giroud to assert himself physically and also for Sanchez and Welbeck to create clever pockets of space as his positioning will be suspect.
http://streamfifamatches.tv/newcastle-united-vs-arsenal/ fantastic stream this and a good website usually. need a pretty good internet connection though
Our final ball has been surprisingly poor today though. Missing Ozil in that regards. Still good first half. Need to kill the game in the 2nd.
we're looking very good and in control. Another just after half time will finish this. Ramsey has tried very hard, but seems to be getting in other players ways more often than not. He's less effective when we play 3 up front, as theres less space for him to find up there. Twice he taken the ball away when leaving it would've given Giroud a chance.
Missing Ozil passing is ****e. Also great defending by Ramsey on 2 occasions to deny Giroud a hatrick. But 2-0 up nonetheless, job half done.
Giroud haters must be starting to change their minds. His goalscoring record since New Years is superb. He's also scoring against the big teams these days. Hats off to Wenger he really knows how to coach centre forwards.
Good first half, giroud is on fire at the moment. Ramsey trying hard but it's not quite happening for him and he has stopped giroud twice from having chances at a hat trick. But I wouldn't take him off, his hard work will help close the game down. I like the look of Gabriel, he's like a Brazilian koscielny. Against faster defenses it's good to have the option of two quick no nonsense defenders.
He's on track for 20+ goals again this season but in far less apps due to his injury early in the season. He has consistently improved his whole time with us and he averages about 20 goals a season over the last 4-5 years of his career.
Here's comes the second half, come on Arsenal! If we can see this game out we will make some ground on either Liverpool or utd or both.
Pitiful defending we didn't even try defending that, ****ing idiots someone needs to tell these players the game isn't over.
