To me it seemed a 4-4-2 formation. Clyne- Fonte - Alderweireld - Bertrand Davis - Schneiderlin-Wanyama-Tadić Mane - Long I see there is a disagreement over where Mane's position, but this doesn't matter that much. Because our midfield on the day to me was a clear four men midfield with Davis on the right, Tadić on the left, Vic and Morgan in the middle. So Mane could only be playing in front of the midfield, in the attack, that is. He didn't exactly play in line with Long, but he was up there.
Why don't they just call them the copy cats. Spurs have never had an original idea in their entire existence. They even copy our song FFS.
To rhyme with Vietnam. Which, even when the yanks were bombing it, was considerably less of a ****hole.
I watched the Man U 1-0 win again last night. Pelle held the ball up very nicely and didn't do any silly flicks or back heels. 90% of his passes appeared to go to the player at whom they were aimed. If Ron can get him back to doing that, we'll be just dandy when he gets on the pitch. Vin
No-ones said "I'm nervous about this one" yet, so I'll say it. Mind you I'm nervous about every game and all the way through them (except the second half against Sunderland!)
I'm calm, but my nervousness levels rises exponentially until I'm on my knees praying to a divine being by kick off. I'm not a domestic goddess, but the house gets spruced up on match days. I divert my mind by polishing shelves, shredding paper, clearing out cupboards etc whilst saying please, please, please.
Does mean there is no housework done during the off season...though a little preseason dusting may happen.
