Just call sky and tell them you feel like you are being treated like a criminal and will be leaving for a provider who actually respects its customers rather than one that bows to the pressure of Hollywood. They wont do **** all. Much like virgin media did **** all either. Out of interest when you download, do you select the 700mb or thereabouts for movies 1.2gb for 1080p rips? Or do you go for the 25gb files?
How much do you download? must be a serious amount. Regardless, any court in the land will laugh at the law firm who have put pressure on sky. When virgin went through it, nothing at all happened. Its barely even a crime.
It's not about the amount you download, thousands of Sky customer have been sent these letters. Don't know what I'll get if anything from the company involved.
It's nothing to do with volume, is all about the item downloaded. Just don't use a public site, use a private one so the service provider can't see titles etc
