I see Neville was desperate trying to play down the games significance saying it was too far out from end to be really significant If it had been Ferguson days he'd be saying a win = game over He knows lfC are favorites, that utd have been poor on the road and if utd slip behind lfC it prob is game over #worried
With all the hype, you can almost certainly guarantee that it'll be a tepid draw. Both sides can't afford to lose, which usually means that neither will be brave enough to push for the win.
I do agree in benetiz and Ferguson days this would be 1-0 either way However I don't agree with tepid. LfC can play only one way so I expect a noisy crowd and lfC trying to attack but being ineffective as utd defend well. Utd have done so v city, chelsea and others earlier in season. LfC need to score early imo
Agreed, an early goal makes for an interesting game. Will Van Gaal #tacticalgenius be the one to pick apart your 3-4-3? It'll be really interesting to see how he sets his side up on Sunday.
Anyone interested in joining my sweepestake? How many elbowing fouls will Fellaini commit? Pick a number between 1 and 20. Maybe that should be between 10 and 20
Even if you win, you will spend a whole week above us. You play away at Arsenal and we play at home to villa. Lose on Sunday and its over for Liverpool.
I find it genuinely mystifying that your board is as quiet as it is. It never used to be. What's happened?
He ****ing agrees with me We should have won that game with the number of chances we created. Come on Tobes. I'm waiting
no We could have taken all our players off the pitch and gone home. Put up practice rails to the goal and made it impossible to miss. You still wouldnt have scored.
No idea. Maybe people found better things to do? Personally I'm working quite a bit more at the moment, going out a lot more now I'm settled up here, and just got a bit bored of the forum tbh. Arguing on the internet is like competing in the Special Olympics started ringing true. So nowadays I generally only come on when I have a bit of time to spare, and can't be arsed getting into any big arguments or shouting matches. Also a lot of the chat on our board in the first couple of years was generally generated by jealous fans of other clubs trying to have a go at our success, then last year it was the same lot having a good laugh at our ****ness. Now we are consistently mediocre there seems not to be all that much to talk about.
But if you'd taken all your players off De Gea wouldn't have been controlling our players minds and making them miss
