In a ****ing nutshell. While some called City fans are happy to let that happen and will join with them against our club.

Lets give all our PL money away to the community. The players understand they will all willingly take a pay cut, there will be sunshine and lollipops for all etc etc

Oi, shush, this is a GREAT idea.

It might get people into the ground earlier than them rocking up 2 mins before kickoff then whining they have to queue.

Funny reading people demanding how Dr Allam spends his money, on them of course. He owes them afterall!

Yes he does, its part of the SMC's lease agreement. He runs the Arena for the benefit of the community and in return gets the use of the KC rent free.

The only question is have Hull City Council the balls to take the lease off him. If they do, Hull City AFC will have to pay an economic rent to the council, be without an indoor pitch and be responsible for all the repairs to the stadium. The people of Hull will get an extra million or so from the rent Hull City AFC pay and we as a club will have to find it.

All because he couldn't browbeat the College into giving him exclusive use of an indoor pitch at Bishop Burton and he's spat his dummy out at the Council.

He could have gone to either Council 18 months ago and found a site for his indoor pitch. However he hasn't and we face falling the audit because nobody tells him how to run his business.

I've received a PM from Stewey. He's infiltrating the roller Dames. He's turning up on Sunday in full Roller Dame kit to eavesdrop on their evil plans to filter back to his crew for appropriate action.
    Chapeau Stewey.

I pulled you up firstly because you were making a desperate attempt to link HCST to another organisations protest.

Secondly, because you try and squeeze 'AKACTWD' into every post(it wasn't funny the first time, by the 30th it was beyond tedious).

And thirdly, just because you're a prick.

Ah, it all becomes clear. The stands are introduced for one to get one's bearings.

Followed by the unfortunate realisation of discovering that the west stand cheers are emanating from your vicinity.

Don't bring facts and reality into it. It will confuse some posters.

Well in that case the players may as well not play, I tell you what they should just say they aren't gonna play and save themselves for the next game.

Thanks for that. At least one person can see a bigger picture and what a disaster this may turn out to be for Hull City AFC.

What facts? All supposition as usual from him. Couple of weeks ago Allam and the council were in cahoots and were softening us all up for a deal together.

Show me the quote where he tried to browbeat the College? Show me how he could have gone to either council and built it somewhere else as it wouldnt be with the rest of the stuff at the college and so fail according to him.
The council have no intention of doing anything. Its what they're good at,

    I withdraw browbeat.

Here's the quote from AN's report of the fan meeting:

"The Premier League apparently rejected City’s compromise suggestion of a promise to have indoor facilities in place by the summer, requiring instead for work to be underway in time for their audit. JM said the club had investigated other sites, including Bishop Burton, but concluded that the Airco Arena was the “only place”. He admitted the club has been “reactive, not proactive”."

Which confirms Angus Young's original Tweet that Bishop Burton said no because of the strings attached.

The Premier League have to approve an indoor pitch away from the rest of the academy. Its in their handbook for 2014-15. Their aim is to have all new indoor pitches with the academy. I found it using google. Public controversy over the indoor pitch may affect that decision, especially if there is doubt about Hull City's right to rent the Arena.

According to another Angus Young tweet, Geraghty at yesterday's meeting, said the council offered to help find an indoor pitch in Hull 2 years ago. Do you think Councillor Parnaby would have refused to help if Assem Allam said can you find us a building to house the indoor pitch, or a suitable piece of land?

The Council have written to the SMC confirming community use is part of the lease and asking them how they intend to fulfil their obligations. Brady said he expects the groups to be still in the Arena in April.

If you are wrong and the Council stand by their rights as landlords Hull City AFC could have no Categoty 2 academy and be millions of pounds a year worse off.

    I'm never wrong.

We cant suddenly build a full training academy like Man City costing millions and millions of pounds on a huge piece of land, Though if we do eventually, i expect you and others to complain about where its sited the crested newts that will be evicted because of it etc etc.
But we need to do things quickly to get moving we are years and years behind other clubs, thanks Adam.

I didnt want all the Academy to move to BB in the first place but i understand why they did. I asked a question of the rep to put to the fans meetings, he didnt do that but chose to answer it himself on here, I wanted to know if the long term plan is to stay at BB. I hope we dont and build our own but that will be in the East riding as theres nowhere in Hull big enough.

The club is dealing in practicalites you and others are like lazy idle students moaning constantly about "the man" sneer sneer look what they've done now.

You make more assumptions about me then I do about Assem Allam.

I want to see a category 2 Academy, its about time we had one. He knew he needed an indoor pitch and thought Bishop Burton would accept his offer to build one. They didn't. It sounds like the club then panicked because of the audit (they asked for it) and issued eviction notices to the current users.

Burns tweeted that the a new pitch elsewhere would cost £1.5 million and Airco could remain open for community use if the Council paid for the new pitch. The cost isn't much more then the £1 million Assem Allam offered the Labour Party. He could have easily sorted this, but left it to the last minute.

The evictions breach the terms of the lease between the SMC and the Council and could end up terminating the lease and all that means for Hull City. Like you I'm not sure if they have the balls to do so, but it's a huge gamble to rely on them not doing so. Especially as he's the biggest corporate donor to the Labour Party.

I don't sneer and don't see myself jumping up and down about newts. I'd like the academy to be on one site in Hull but wouldn't really care if it was in the East Riding.

I object to my football club chucking amateur sports out of a community arena, built by the council, because it wasn't competent enough to sort out an indoor playing pitch in time for the Premier League audit.

Ok to sneer at the man if it's the right man, but if it's one with lots of money that's different.

Can I just ask a couple of questions, if anyone out there knows the answers:

    1) Could the "evicted" tenants afford to stay at Airco if the SMC didn't subsidise?

    2) What would Hull City Council do with the KC if Hull City AFC moved elsewhere?

My point is viability. It seems to me that although relations between the various parties are pretty strained, they are actually in a somewhat symbiotic relationship, each helping the other out.

I have no "political" slant on this, it just seems that the SMC is trying to do what is best for its biggest contributor. Obviously this is compounded by the involvement of the Allams, but what would you do if you were in their position?

Again you have no idea what went on and assume things but feel every thing should be run by you first.
What Allam dontates out of his personal wealth or doesnt is up to him yet you make a snide comment about him him giving that money to us.
You dont know it breaches as you dont know the terms of the lease but want to assume it says what you want.

Our club is competent enough to do this in the fullness of time, as it is they are playing catch up cos of Adam Pearson doing **** all for years. You have no idea about our revenue streams and how and where money is allocated. But constantly bang on about how much money we are getting from being in the PL and how he should be doing this or that.
He's upped the budget from 700 grand to 2 million and more will be spent subject to lots of different things.

But its just bang bang with negativity.
