Wigan v Watford Huddersfield v Norwich Millwall v Brighton With only nine games left and us well and truly I the a relegation fight it is natural that one eye moves to how our rivals are getting on, with us and Rotherham playing tomorrow the above are the 3 games that affect us most tonight. Think I would like a win for Norwich, Watford and Millwall not happy that I'm I require two away wins am never confident when hoping for away wins
A good shout Cookie. with a Rotherham defeat to morrow BUT a win for Wigan Rotherham and a defeat for us, - - - - - then we are in deep s..t
At the risk of putting the hex on the outcome that we'd prefer, Wigan's resurgence has been in winning their last 4 away games (noted for 10th April!). Whereas at home it's 5 defeats on the trot. Understand where you're coming from Cookie, but the bottom line is that, as rosc says, our fate is in our own hands. We just cannot let the Leeds game get away from us.
Cottager our fate is indeed in our own hands which is a good thing and tomorrow is a big game but we still need to keep an eye on things, if Wigan win tonight we need to win as well, if they lose a draw wouldn't be horrendous also if they lose and we win that's 9 points clear with only 8 games to go a massive step to safety
Point taken Cookie. And despite the 'thrill' of watching Berbatov stroll around the pitch, with Arsenal's play being even slower I think you've convinced me to switch to the wireless and keep in contact with the Championship games.
6 of the bottom nine teams played tonight and none of them won including an important home defeat for Wigan, if our guys are not fired up for tomorrow's night game then I don't know what will get them in the mood
Quite unbelievably Norwich equalised in the 96th min - I've had to edit my post as well Cookie. And delighted to do so. Now 6pts ahead of Wigan and 4pts behind 16th placed Bolton, with tomorrow's game in hand. COYW
Any thoughts now? Depp do do springs to mind. If we escape without relegation it will be by luck if we keep playing the same way. Bring back the chickens!
Blimey, that pigeon didn't last long. Obviouly Saturday's game is important but the next three home games - Brentford (3rd April), Wigan (10th April) and Rotherham (15th April) - are massive.
Agreed Cookie - was really just thinking about how poor our home form (excluding the Derby game) has been.
