That figure has not been independently audited, and it never can be because the SMC is a private company. So we're relying on AA for the accuracy of that statement.
They missed this too:- "I want to take young people off the streets and let them put their energies into sport.” & this "I want to create a Sports Village, with a range of top-quality sporting facilities, used by local people seven days a week" & this "I'm sorry the community will be deprived of a 1st class sporting facility open for all the family every day" & this "I want to see our younger generation only go home to eat and sleep, rather than hanging around on street corners." Just saying.
In order to get Cat 2 level, isn't it the case that you have to have the buildings on the same premises as your academy? So our indoor pitches will have to be at Bishop Burton?
The Premier League have the power to waive that consideration. The question is whether the eviction of local amateur sports from the facility will influence the Premier League to say no. You can see why it wouldn't look good on their CV.

Alan Johnson MP has just released on open letter to Ehab. Sorry, I can't post it, I've left work now, but it's on Twitter.
What a twat. Never seen while we've been battling the ****ing council, he sniffs a few votes and jumps straight in. He should **** off and mind his own business.
He's actually met with all concerned parties to try and sort something out between the council and Allams. But don't let it get in the way of your scheduled faux-outrage. As you were.
