    It's crazy mate.

We've just booked our hotel, in Fulham, arranged to get to West Ham at lunchtime & will be in the ground for kick off ...... not like us at all.

We want to be there for the coach arriving, for the players warming up & coming out.

It's a clean slate and 'here we go again' <laugh>

QUOTE="Smug in Boots, post: 7731305, member: 1001969"]Do people really have tactics <yikes>

    p.s. who are you?[/QUOTE]

Yes, you do. Interestingly enough, you've shown no plan b yet. One thing I noticed to your credit though, is that you have the opposite way of playing your tactics to gobshite armstrong. He's of the old not 606 school - feet-first name calling and,if that fails a bit of grammar analysis as his tactic 2 - whereas you have the intelligence to try an argument first (no matter how convoluted, usually claiming that it proved your point 100% even if you didn't have much of a point anyway) the grammar analysis second, name calling third, and, if the other person gets bored with you, a fourth tactic of discussing him with a third party - "he'll still maintain he's right, the silly c*nt", etc. - oh yes, I've analyzed them all.

Yes, people really do have tactics ... don't you?

I remember this poster, Chats noirs.

Wasn't it a, er, SHE, not a HE?

I think I remember she wrote a ****ing brilliant post about Bruce when he was sacked, saying he was an OK manager but then reached the level where he was out of his depth and was ****e from then on.

I generally have a good memory, but hey, 52, time passes, loads of booze over the years so ...

I remember her/him from years back. Seem to remember them being a decent poster.

One of the boards many casualties.

I think Chats Noir was male, lived in Geneva or somewhere similar. Good poster. Disappeared around 2012 along with several other good 'uns - Men die in the Willow Pond, Shameless, Cuteybuns, &co. Not a good time for not 606.

It's all in your head man, you deliberately came on here to start an argument for absolutely no good reason <doh>

I don't start arguments, I put my point like everyone else on here ......... it's a forum for debate you loon.
I start threads that will interest people and provide a platform for debate, why don't you try that instead of coming on here whinging?
I never pull people up for grammatical errors unless they've started it and I respond in kind.
It's the same with insults, retaliation .......... check your facts, you're wrong.
"discussing him with a third party." You mean like you've done twice on this thread alone <laugh>

    You've 'analyzed them all' ...... don't you think that's a little weird?
Do you think other people need you to police the board, surely they can make their own minds up?

It should be quite an atmosphere, though I do find it quite intimidating when they start the bubble machine <yikes>

Ipswich are a good chance of making the play offs, don't think he will tbh. Who do you reckon we'd go for then?

TBH mate, I wouldn't want to talk about a hypothetical situation involving relegation.

In the PL I think we need a manager with PL experience.
Poyet wasn't 'big enough' and the players walked all over him, Di Canio stood up to them and they went running to the headmaster.
We need someone like Allardyce who can handle himself and who knows what's needed in this division.

Fair enough mate, it's good to see the club being proactive. I admire ES for his resilience, bringing in the previous managers Bruce mon who I thought would take us on the up & then to be ****ed in the ass by them must of been testing for the yank.. Staying up with pdc was a masterstroke by him. I like that he gave him his chance to prove himself in pl then swiftly sacked him.. From a fan abroad I can see that he has made choices that have let the club down not to mention expensive signings for bugger all return.. Couldn't ask for a better chairman! Sam alardyce seems a decent choice, considering his no nonsense approach to players & I reckon our players need a good kick up the ass. West ham were struggling last season and he pulled them out of that so he's experience with that in the pl is invaluable. My smoky would be on Paul clement, you never know it could be a good appointment, Ronald koeman at the saints bloody hell I didn't see that coming.. Jumped straight in and they've been consistent all season.

TBH mate, Southampton give me hope that we can 'one day' find the right formula.

They were in the lower leagues, in total disarray with Portsmouth laughing at them.

Now it's all changed and they're flying.

They dropped in lucky with Koeman, lots of clubs had ignored him but he fits perfectly at Southampton.

We deserve the success too! Nearly a sell out against villa after some demoralising football speaks volumes of the fans, you wouldn't get that over here mate.. I've been feeling upbeat all week about the game this wknd & remaining games. <cheers>
