And that super striker from Croatia looked brilliant ! Ps might want to look at the ball he was aware of to Hernandez
They were poor on Saturday, but they've both been impressive since joining us. N'doye netted three in three before Saturday. I have to ask, wouldn't you swap them for your strikers ?
Would I swap Ulloa and Kramaric for Jelavic and N'Doye? ... no ... but that's no disrespect to either. I've not seen enough of either player regularly enough to comment. I have, however, seen just about every minute of Ulloa and Kramaric this season and my thoughts therefore:. Leo Ulloa has scored nine goals against premiership opposition this season including goals against Man United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, Everton and Newcastle ... if we gave him the service he needs he'd get more - the fact that we haven't and that Pearson has benched him frustrates me - particularly given our need for goals to win games. Andrei Kramaric looks a real talent ... the two goals he has notched - away at Arsenal and at Villa in the Cup were real top drawer finishes ... I think he will go on to be a top talent - whether with us or elsewhere is the worry with him.
At least Jelavic was going for his chances, even if that slip in the first half when he had to score was absolutely comical. Kramaric pulling out of that peach of a cross from Mahrez was pretty pathetic, and I'm not sure he actually touched the ball in the box. Record-signing striker playing on the wing, FFS!
The same could be said about half your team , but then again you see as much of jelavic as I do your mob , still rather have him than ulloa .
You're talking bollocks. I've seen almost every game he's played for City. He's clumsy but his first touch finishing is excellent, as is his work rate. He was a bargain at £7.5 million.
He's our top goalscorer this season with 8, which says more about how we've played than how good Jelavic is. Check out his goal against Palace at home, that's pure technique. But of course, your strikers are much better than ours. You've got a Croatian lad that's gonna be good in 5 years time and a half decent player in Ulloa.
After today the optimism is back here The way Cambiasso has been leading the team on and off the pitch recently gives us a real chance if we play like we did today for the rest of the season
I thought after the Hull result we wern't going to pull it back and im sticking with that ... never know though ... WBA got clobbered today .... *slaps wrist* NO Stop it!
OK don´t get me wrong I really want us to stay up, but I still can´t see it. W.B.A SWANSEA BURNLEY CHELSEA NEWCASTLE SOTON SUNDERLAND Q.P.R We really need to beat W.B.A, Burnley, Sunderland, Q.P.R & atleast 1 of Newcastle, Swansea & Soton to stand a chance. I think Chelsea will win so... It´ll be a great escape Steve McQueen would be proud of.
Well that's put a different complexion on things, the Burnley result was immaterial but Sunderland beating Newcastle has thrown a huge spanner in the works. Even though we had a fabulous result against West Ham, Villa and Hull got beat, but it still means we're 6 points from safety.
I've said all along that Hull are the only team that realistic could go down in our place so not too concerned about the Sunderland result. If we'd beaten Hull at our place, we'd be three points behind them instead of six, so that draw still looks to have been a damaging result. If we beat West Brom and they lose away at Southampton, it could be game on again though. But are we capable of back-to-back wins?
