My interest has waned a touch lately, but, yes, I would certainly opt for Riviere instead of someone like Harry Kane.
Its only a matter of time before he goes on a goal scoring run, so best to get him in before anyone else does.
He was very unlucky the last few games, so go on , it makes sense.

I was going to make Sanchez captain at the weekend, but, he'll have a stinker against Willo, so best to avoid him.

Good point, Willo will have him in his pocket, so Willo is going in my team too. <ok>

I'm thinking it may be 7 or 8 maybe.

I don't think we'll win by that many. Show Arsenal somd respect. Maybe 7-1, or 8-2.

Does this make, you, me, Pardew and Carver the only four people in the world who think Willo is a footballer.
    Great minds.

Make your mind up. You have gone for 0-5 in the OP, you are going to bet on 0-3, 0-4 and 0-5 (Post #10) and you are now thinking it might be 7 or 8 (Post #23). When you play roulette do you cover all 36 numbers so you can be sure of getting something back? Bet on all the horses in the field so that you can say you backed the winner.
I have a good feeling about this one and think that we will only lose by a couple.

    I do.
When I bet on football I find that going for the home side, away side and the draw guarantees me a win.
    It's like buying money.

I know I'm not going to be rich on it but I've put all the money I had in my Paddy Power account (£84.15) on the handicap bet of Arsenal to win (-1) at 15/8

Seems like a shoe in to me and gets me £157.78

My bet looks great when you consider my prediction on the starting line up

    Krul
    Raylor Jaanmaat Williamson Colback

    Anita Sissoko

    Obertan Gouf Sameobi

    Riv

That team would struggle in the championship in my opinion, but watch Carver name that team! his like Pardew even when something doesnt work, he persists with it

One of the problems may be the training, im not being funny, but its quite easy to become deluded when you see riviere beating anita to headers and scoring 7 in training against williamson in defence and say woodman in goal. You could see Carver rubbing his hands thinking he has a right gem here and his on top form, only for him to be put up against actual PL defenders on a saturday and perform no better then a dieseased Rat!

The same could be said for Gouf, obertan and anita.

Our players train all week against sh!t players and thats no kind of preperation for when your going to go onto a football pitch with real PL players.

In the Championship, you wouldn't have Krul, Sissoko, Janmaat or Colback either!!!!!

Moussa, you are an optimist of the highest degree. <ok>
Being of similar ilk, I'm going 1 - 1, but I am out done by your good self.

I salute you fellow optimist, unlike the pessimists running wild on here, who need a good kick up the a***.

Hmmm, I wonder how many entries in the HEADLINE GAME will include the word 'ARSE'.
