Arsène Wenger has revealed the latest team news ahead of Saturday's game against Newcastle United:

    on the team news…

We have no new big injuries, we have some knocks, but nothing major. Mathieu Debuchy is two or three weeks away, Arteta and Wilshere as well. Arteta will maybe come back after the [international] break. Tomas Rosicky is hopefully available again for the weekend.

    on
    Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Debuchy
They are still two or three weeks away.

    on concerns about fatigue...

West Ham was a very physical game. In the second half of the Monaco game we played some of our players offensively. We paid a little bit for it. It is a concern. We have to see how everyone recovers.

Time to keep up the momentum, our winning streak and the pressure on City to push on for 2nd place. <ok>

City play WBA. And while they're at home something about WBA always makes them a tough ask when they play the big teams. Chavski are away to Hull so I'm hoping they draw there. United and Liverpool means good result for us either way though a draw is the best scenario.
Newcastle usually haven't troubled us in recent years so I'm hoping we preserve out momentum going into the International Break before the big match vs. Liverpool.

Didn't realise our recent record against Newcastle was so good. Correct me if I'm wrong, but they haven't beaten us for 5 years?

Anyway Carver is a dreadful manager however whenever we got to St. James Park, Newcastle are always a difficult proposition. If you look at most of our recent wins there, they have been marginal.

Think it'll be a tight 2-1 Arsenal win.

I'd start Ozil ahead of Walcott to be honest. But I agree that Ramsey should be in there <ok>

I want pace, players are always off the pace after an away European leg, and seeing how we have to travel to the northest point of England, doesn't make it any better for our players. Plus I wasn't satisfied with Ozil tonight. Walcott should be given a chance to do his thing and show us what he has, with the big pitch at Newcastle, he might be able to do just that.

Newcastle have nothing to play for and they are ****e, should be an easy win. I would drop Sanchez for Ramsey for this game.

I would definitely play Ramsey. He had a good outing tonight, looked vibrant.
Honestly think we can put a few past Newcastle if we turn up. Their defence is threadbare with Coloccini suspended.

    1-3 predo.

I thought ozil was our best player tonight alongside Cazorla, giroud and koscielny. If any of those four are fit and available I'd play them, they are all in good form.

You are taking the piss about the travelling aren't you ?
The team will travel to Newcastle by private chartered luxury 'plane and the journey will take about an hour.

I would rest Sanchez. Start Walcott and Ramsey.

Still, having to go on 2 flights in the space of 3 days is not that much fun, and 3 flights in like 5 days if you count the trip to Monaco. Flying in the air, no matter how comfy or luxurious takes its toll, your body gets effected when you go that high in the air, doesn't matter how comfy it is.

If you visit the Newcastle board they've already thrown the towel in and given up on this game (and this season). Most have put bets on a 0-4 loss!

Trust me, absolutely no way we could come back from that. Were cooked, we might as well not even play the game. Wait until you see the lineup we put out. How ****ty the players are. Our leading goalscorer will be colback with 3..... Were like man united but on a much ****tier level and we don't every decision our way. Good luck fellas, your playing a team with the quality of the stevenage reserves I'd put my money on 5-0 if it was legal here in the states.
