Today is the day I finally lose patience with Ozil, another big game and he goes missing. Unless he can make a miracle now.
Same old **** ****ing story, bottle it in first leg, give everything in 2nd leg, we pat our asses, say good job, bla bla bla. So sick of the same story, what a load of piss.
If I hear any spin from Wenger about a gallant effort he will go even further down in my estimation. We're out to the worst team in the last 16 because we were utter cack two weeks ago.
Was hoping you'd go through, Monaco are gash and slightly annoying they've knocked an English team out.
Unlucky boys. Played well but same old same old. My main annoyance is that 90% of our crosses didn't beat the 1st man
Ozil was quality - I have no idea what you were watching, Wxcellent performance today under massive pressure. Just a shame we were soo awful in the first leg.
Not unlucky really though, we bottled in the first leg, Monaco got 3 goals, we couldn't do that, so don't see why we're unlucky? It's 2 games, not 1, we didn't do enough. Let's not keep repeating that same bull **** of oh we're unlucky every year, we're not, we always get knocked out because we're not good enough, end of.
So close and yet so far once again. Really frustrating. Credit to the lads tonight for a monumental effort though.
So close, out again on away goals. That late goal in London cost us. What a game of football though, exciting stuff, had me on the edge of my seat shouting at the tv! It was always going to be a big ask to overturn the poor first result but hopefully this gives the team some confidence rather than disappointment and they can focus on a good league finish and chance at retaining the FA Cup. Ozil was brilliant. And the gut busting run at 95 minutes to try and win the ball back showed just how much he wants to win.
