All the more reason for the club to back him and allow him to work. The club shouldn't be playing judge & jury with someone's life, career & mental health.
Well if its all there and there's nothing to suggest it stands a realistic chance of conviction why wasnt he nfa'd. The investigation is obviously not complete. He doesn't need to be on police bail for other accusors to surface.
I think at the time they were playing it safe, maybe with more urgency for points they'll reconsider. Horrible situation to be in whoever turns out to be the victim.
The police, through their clumsy actions, have boxed themselves into a corner. He doesn't need to be on bail for others to come forward, that's true. But the police know that him being on bail is more likely to encourage others. The investigation isn't 'obviously' anything as none of us know what's happening do we?
With human forensics there's stuff they can't actually rush. It's not my sphere but my wife is a doctor and always whinges when (on things like Frost) they get the forensics back within minutes/hours as they need to take a culture (sample) and then let it grow to then compare it. You can't make DNA replications just 'grow' in minutes, they sort of go at their own pace. Though to be fair I think you're talking about a few days rather than weeks, but I could be wrong.
It seems to me that the police are **** scared of cases like this due to all the publicity regarding Saville, Smith et al, and are giving all the benefit of any doubt to the victims, particularly when the accused is rich and famous.....They will leave no stone unturned, and if he is found to be innocent then he will be..
As I've said my guess is that they don't have enough to charge him despite an alleged first degree witness, corroboration, etc. Why not? The investigation doesn't have to be complete for him to be charged does it? I believe they're hoping other people will come forward and are simply stringing it out.
Shame the old bill were not so thorough when it comes to investigating politicians and child sex abuse
Nobody here knows what the ****s going on to be fair. People on one side of the fence choosing to back a guy who hasn't been proven guilty and others on the other side of the fence refusing to back somebody who could end up a convicted *****phile (technically or otherwise). Then me, sitting on the fence, just call me Wurzel
I've said I'm guessing Terry. However, I'm not backing him because I've no reason to, he hasn't been charged or convicted has he? I'm saying the police look like they're floundering. Having said that I'd be well pissed off if my friends & family didn't support me if I'd said I'd been wrongly accused. Would you?
according to the fail he is training http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...nvestigation-claims-sex-15-year-old-girl.html
Gotta massive feeling its all just a damp squib, a gobshite little teenagaer who's dug a great big hole, obviously the pollis have to see it through but its looking more and more like ****e as each day passes
The police have absolutely no choice whether to investigate or not, especially after all the police corruption etc. People using the 'no smoke without fire' shyte would appear to want him to be guilty.
Absolutely, cannot leave any Stone unturned, i get that, club changing stance suggests the little lying slag is gonna get caught out, i would have throttled him by now mind Really bad crack if it turns out to be the case as i woukd be doing time more than likely
