I'd be surprised if he can perform with all the abuse he's going to get, there's already a lot of nasty songs going round, guilty or innocent, he is in for a tough ride.

I reckon that's why the police are struggling to find anything to charge him with <laugh>

Great movie, honestly agree with alot of the earlier posts me like, pollis are clutching at straws, trying to protect the 'victim' after there heavy handed and shambolic actions tbf

This is great news for us. If he'd gone in tomorrow and been charged it could have killed any positivity from today's appointment.

I wouldn't take re bail as a sign that he's more llikely to walk. It could mean anything, there may have been more evidence come to light they need to work on. He may have had a burner phone he was contacting her on and they pinged it and it came back to the academy, hence the 'raid' there.

The forensics may not be back from his vehicles yet.

They'll want an air tight case. They won't want to go to CPS unless they are confident they have one

If there was nowt in it he'd have been nfa'd not re bailed.

There's been more than enough time for DNA & forensics ........ this is the police desperately hoping for more 'victims' to come forward.

Old Bill said stuff on Twatter & Fyassbook are upsetting the victim!

Don't suppose AJ, The Club or the Fans are exactly thrilled with what is happening either

If she doesn't like it she shouldn't have put it on there in the first place

    Dozy little Mare!

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Am-Secret-F...=1426622187&sr=8-4&keywords=secret footballer

First one I read. I think the whole purpose of the books was to provide more insight than pundits on a sofa, because let's be honest, football is our version of Loose Women <laugh>

Also, I'm sure the "secret" tagline gets more stuff sold than some forgotten ex-pro's autobio... Still, I would recommend you chaps give it a read. Like I said, I thought it was an interesting take, even if it turns out to be somewhat fictitious.

Mate have you got any idea how long it takes the dumb ****s at the home office to run forensics?

I've never heard of them doing anything that fast, they're ****ing useless pal I'd be surprised if they have forensic results back this year!

Nonsense it could take ages to do all the forensic work and computer and phone\s analysis.

The cps may also be the reason for the delay.

That won't matter, unless AJ is paying out his own pocket I'm not even sure that's a thing!

DNA for sure will be back by now, that may be enough to convict but there's been no charge so maybe they are relying on forensics.

He's gonna need some ****ing spine in his back if he's coming back whilst on bail, although he gets paid enough, get on with it.

Since this happened there'll have been thousands of way more serious crimes occurred where forenics require processing. They aren't gonna rush this through cos the suspect plays for Sunderland.

They've searched his home, vehicles and place of work ......... where else can they search?

Whatever 'samples' they found could've been analysed in a week.

I could check someone's phone & computer in an afternoon while posting on here and doing my work at the same time.

The CPS are directed by the evidence admitted by the police, if there was sufficient they'd proceed.

My good mate does phone forensics, doesn't take him that long to grab all the data, everything that ever been on the phone leaves a finger print, then it take him days to sift through it.

Tech forensics don't take too long to be honest but the human stuff can literally take years, depending on priority.
