Hoping for a Watford away win but am realistic to know tonight is going to be far from easy, the pressure will be on the boys tonight as they know this fixture is one they should be looking for maximum points from given the next three games coming up. Lets hope for an early Watford goal again.
That's the key, Wigan will have to come at us which will hopefully suit our counter attacking game. If Fessi can take another giant stride in realising his potential as he did Saturday and Troy and Vydra continue their form then, with continued defensive solidity, we should comfortably break our Wigan duck. We are Watford, this is the Championship... who knows what's going to happen????
Gomes; Cathcart, Angella, Ekstrand, Hoban; Motta, Watson, Guedioura, Munari; Deeney, Vydra subs: Bond (GK), Layun, Tozser, Forestieri, Paredes, Anya, Ighalo.
Just finished a lovely piece of slow roast beef with herby dumplings done up in some onion sauce, washed down with a very tasty vin rouge from the Rhone valley. I bought a case of the wine as it was a good price. I hope the wine doesn't get a hammering tonight!
A tall and strong back 4 with a defensive midfield - set up for a mud fight rather than free flowing game. We can up the tempo if needed from the bench when the game stretches. No fancy passing expected - or very little anyway!
A nice bottle of Sicilian wine on the go here with a bottle of Cliff's finest in reserve. Arsenal on the telly to keep Mrs H-F happy, or not... I fancy our chances more than Arsenal tonight.
Teams coming out. Ben Watson gets a great reception from the few home fans there. Hornets Player up and running. Watford going 3-5-2 tonight. The pitch is poor, very soft.
