I did a 2 week cruise round the Med some years back - was a really good experience, you'll love it

 

I've always wanted to try it, i hear only good things. And it suits us well because Mr H likes to go exploring and i like to veg by the pool. i'm not sure why we haven't done it before, for that very reason! lol

 

Would you believe it? They phoned me up saying..."We're in the pub and have ordered you beer and lunch. All you need to do is drive here, eat and drink, then drive us all home again." A fair exchange, I'd say...nice pint of Tim Taylor's Landlord and an excellent steak sandwich!

 

Hmmm I had a few of those last night....

Unfortunately it is the only time I can get due to people being off all during the summer and restrictions we have on manning the shifts! Still we will make the most of it

 

you could always go somewhere else if the weather is rubbish

 

Had a carribean cruise was ok ,but wouldnt do it again! What I would like to do is cruise down the Nile , last time I did it was on a feluca !! Next time a spot of luxury is on order

Well we are going to Germany first to visit my stepson and his partner and their baby who I have not seen yet, my good lady went over at the end of May to visit but alas I was working! We want to try France especially as the wife works there now.

 

Ello,had forgotten this is the time of year for bragging about our hols.For some of us a hol means a day trip to the launderette in the next village ,and thats only if Mrs ONH thinks her slaves housework is complete. So do hope you all have a marvellous time,but unless things change dramatically within WFC in the next few weeks, suggest you take these 'Im not jealous' hols once the new season starts to avoid the results,...if the club has enough players left to field a team !!

 

We await the other permanent signings with bated breath!

My neighbour never goes on holiday. A big day out for him is a trip to the bookies 6 miles away.

 

Holidays , My cruise was my first "vacation" for 10 yrs (also doubled up as a honeymoon belatedly for Mrs N 6 yrs late!!)

Ello French, youre on one long holiday over there!

Keep yer head down, the Boss is currently in the air on way to freres en Lyon environs, then on to work in Strasbourg for a few days...and she has yer description !! (Funnily enough- I have to stay here to be bullied by one of daughters and dog)

 

Very quiet as usual w_y. Just a few old soaks chewing the fat.

 

oldnick, because of our location we have dozens of vapour trails overhead everyday. We often wonder where they are going.

If you can tell me what Mme's steam looks like I will pop out and give her a wave.

 

Perhaps I will take a to kick the week-end off...

 

Norway, yeh promises of signings...as long as the chosen few dont prefer to join a lower league club (Wiggins- Charlton). The shame of it !!
