After holidaying in Holland last year, I love mayonnaise on chips. Not Hellman's rubbish but good, homemade mayonnaise. In fact, I'll suggest them for dinner tonight. Vin
I feared that too, hence my response. I have made my own mayonnaise once. No, strike that, I can't lie, I helped my ex-wife make some, while she instructed me on how to make guacamole, my first time. By heaven, she could cook well. Sadly, I have to pop over to NZ if I want to check that she's keeping the culinary skill set up.
Heinz mayo is the best Imo. Did anyone watch the BBC drama The Casual Vacancy? Just watched it, excellent drama.
Thought about it, but I've been unusually inundated by BBC drama lately, which has got me watching more TV than I like to [don't like sitting passively for too long]. Poldark and Banished are excellent so far, and I've been catching up on Wolf Hall and Smiley's People.
if only aidan turner was 3 inches taller, he would be THE perfect man, alongside our very own morgan.
Off to watch some 'proper' non-league on Wednesday night - Burgess Hill Town vs Whyteleaf in the Ryman League South Division.
Mostly use the Hairy Bikers recipe: http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/foolproofmayonnaise_93365 Quite like making guacamole too, but sadly it can't be done on a whim, since it seems inordinately hard to find avocados that are actually ripe.
Alonso has to undergo a simulator test before he can drive F1 again...can't be too careful at those speeds, I suppose. Gary Neville has won sports pundit award for second year running...very little competition really. Sky won sports programme award for their coverage of the Ryder Cup.
Making your own hummus is easy, and is infinitely better than buying it, as you can stick as much garlic in as you like.
