I used to have a blue plate special in Cardiff in the sixties: sausages, chips and peas with a thinnish curry sauce. Absolutely delicious.
To paraphrase, it is possible to eat well in Britain...as long as you eat breakfast three times a day.
That's basically how much I have to eat when bulking up. Then the same for lunch and dinner add to that 3 protein shakes with creatine after each one. It messes you up a little.
Basically what is. You start of with a frame(body) that is muscley and maybe define. You then eat **** loads for a month or two. This puts fat on top of muscley. So when you work out/ cut down you intake again and lose the fat you build muscle mass easier.
I promise to try chips and mayo next time I am in a pub...the problem is that I don't like mayo much in the first place.
Is that due to you only trying crappy mayonnaise or due to a genuine dislike though..? There is plenty of rubbish mayonnaise around, just as there is plenty of rubbish tomato ketchup around too. I suppose Helman's is the best, easily recognisable and available, mayonnaise in the UK, but most continental mayonnaises are way, way better, in my opinion. I could eat some French mayos with a spoon straight out of the pot. To give Helman's credit, they stopped people believing that Heinz Salad Cream was what mayonnaise tasted like, way back when. But continental mayonnaise is so much more available now in the UK [go to any Lidl or Aldi for instance if you don't want to pay over the odds] and it is gorgeous.
I don't hate mayo in the same way as I hate mango and tarragon...I can eat it in tiny quantities on salad if other dressings aren't available. You may have to wait a while as I had chips yesterday and I tend to have them only once a month.
