Ridley Scott's film - Blade Runner (1982) is to tour UK cinemas in its 'Final Cut' version http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/film/filmreviews/11089809/Blade-Runner-The-Final-Cut-review.html
And they're making a sequel. Not so sure about that idea though. The first one alone is a perfect film.
I'm with you on that one - don't know if it'll work. I bought the Director's Cut version on DVD and I've just got a secondhand Final Cut ordered at Amazon.
I've got the 5-disc version of the Final Cut on DVD, it has a 3 and a half hour long documentary 'Dangerous Days' on the second disc, and the other various versions of the film on the other 3 discs.
Can't believe they made a film version of it. The poor fox will never catch that ostrich and everyone knows it, why stretch it out over 3 hours? You can count me out.
What is then? The only one that comes close is Alien. Unless you're on about Ford, as that is more debatable.
Depends on your taste. But Black Rain and Black Hawk Down were better and more enjoyable. imo. btw, i never said that Blade Runner was a bad film either, just not his best. As for Alien, I prefer James Cameron's ALIENS myself.
