More like injuries, suspension and a need to win forced LVG to remove his head from his arse and play a formation that worked better for the players but which went against his philosophy nonsense. If things had been clicking he wouldn't have suddenly gone for a different formation.
I suspected that the di Maria suspension would be a blessing in disguise. DM is out of form AND being played in odd positions. How many do managers stumble upon a good system when players get injured/suspended? I can only hope that LVG just keeps what works.

In a way I am hoping that a Liverpool player blatantly dives and they are awarded a penalty for it, the meltdown on here would be delicious to witness. Also, I am hoping in the same game you guys have a blatant penalty waved away, with a booking for a dive for the victim. Wonder what kinda odds there are on at least one red card in this game?
