decking is the cornerstone of modern civilisation, affording strength and resilience which all societies need to flourish. indeed, as far back as the 13th century decking was recognised by such luminaries as galileo galilei, mozart, isaac newton, erasmus washburn, robert moog and leonardo da vinci code as fundamental to human life. it is said that, inter alia, the football association ratified its rules on decking, the hull city football club - hence the avatar - was founded over barbecue and bevies on decking, and horatio kizmet nelson was fatally shot on decking. in later times, albert einstein stated categorically that it was a feeling of weightlessness and travelling perpendicularly and obversely to alpha centuri in the boston crab nebula at warp speeds while standing with his umpteenth can of carling megastrong that delivered the damascene conversion in his mind, taking him in one magical historical ground-breaking moment from a disciple of newtonian physics to the realisation that overturned all past physics and made him the king of the castle. it was the epitome of decking related triumph.

    I like the simplicity.
    I struggle with computer literacy.
I really haven't been bothered enough to do anything about - but will now!

My user name simply derives from the season in the Championship when we ended with Nick Barmby as manager and we looked for a while as if promotion was a possibility., and I haven't allowed the Allam inspired controversy to alienate me from our beloved nick-name.

(You might be glad of my current lack of ability on the computer if I start posting endless pictures of my new Indian motorbike or my latest offering of home brew).

I heard there was a poster on here called Thomsen, possibly an old colleague and I'm looking for him!

I'm reluctant to admit I collect fridge magnets - and this is on my fridge door.

I did a search of the threads back to the beggining of my time here, I searched for the screenname "Thomsen" and it came up empty.
Maybe ask one of the old bastards like OLM that have been on here since he was knee high to a grass hopper.

I'm pretty sure there was a poster called Thomsen until recently, I haven't seen him post anything for a while but I'm very sure he existed.

I work at RAF Coningsby the base for Typhoons, and every now and then NATO have something called a tiger meet were each country paints an aircraft in tiger livery so it seemed quite appropriate.

That's reassuring Sterling - I thought I might have been hallucinating again (note the mad, staring eyes in my avatar!). PattyNchips2 hasn't been able to find him. By way of description, he has a ginger beard and a similar mad stare; drives a submarine and last time I saw him was in a furious Atlantic storm to the south west of Fuerteventura.
