What the frig are you on about here Andy? Even if Elmo has ran the length of the pitch - he could only have been telling the ref not to send someone off. That's very different to telling him to send someone off. The latter is the problem and without the latter occuring Elmo wouldn't have had anything to shout about. I dunno how you can argue that they tried to get him sent off when it's quite clear that after he gives the foul Mahrez suddenly rolls half the length of the pitch when he was about to get up (nearly as far as he dived when his cheating got Doncaster Rovers relegated to League 1 in a game which was meaningless to you) and the rest are all around the ref asking for a red. You've just linked a video which shows it.
I remember the scene well and the clip on the highlights doesn't show much of it, which considering that video of Pearson that surfaced, I'm surprised they left out the Leicester players all surrounding the ref. The highlights make it look over and done with in mere moments but in reality it went on for well over a minute.
