    If only we had a Bony upfront tonight. Gomis alround play has been excellent, but he's not a 15+ goal a season striker at this level.

    Can't fault that display. 90% happy with that. Keep that up for the rest of the season and we'll smash the 50 point barrier.

    I think we burnt ourselves out in the first half. We were excellent for that, but second half just ran out of energy, we no longer chased them down and swarmed all over them, leaving Liverpool to control the game. The goal, although hugely fortunate was coming anyway.
    Dyer wasn't on for long, but he did nothing yet again. Don't know what's gone wrong with him.

    Great effort but we lack the killer instinct. We need a bony type player to put the ball away. fair play to Liverpool who slowly but gradually wore us down to take control and deservedly go home with the points. enjoyable game...<ok>

    It's said so often but you really do need to score when you're on top otherwise it can come back to hurt you which is obviously what happened today.
    Score in the first half and I think it's a very different game.

    Wouldn't say his best... thought he was brilliant against City and has been brilliant the last 3 months or so.. still doesn't get the credit he deserves but has actually started to go forward with the ball and beat players now as well <yikes>

    Needs to add goals but starting to look like the £15m player we thought we signed <ok>

    As they say a game of two halves, full marks to Garry for the way we approached the game but we needed to score. In the 2nd half Brendan made the changes and they were on top and had a bit of good fortune with the goal. Probably a 0-0 would have been a fair result.

    We now need to be the party poopers and spoil Villa's revival. Then its into April,a month when we need to be picking up the points with Hull and Everton at home and away to Leicester and Newcastle - a minimum of 7 points I hope
