I'm not an employee of the club, you thick ****. You may be, but I'm a supporter, a long time supporter who's put in too many miles to be classed by "fly by night" owners as "irrelevant" or "barely relevant" merely because they have an obvious & embarrassing axe to grind with their local council.
It's such a shame that a pathetic skirmish with the council has caused all this bullshit. Turning fans away from the club and on each other. I pray for the day we get new owners.
So does that mean you won't vote in the general election because I don't work for club nor did I suggest you do so wind your neck in !!
I must admit ... this is hilarious from all parties ... the timing of this announcement is actually perfect as they have now got to reconsider the original application without the FSF and CTWD input next month ... for those who see this as a victory you have not read what the verdict is ... the decision last year is now irrelevant .. they have dispelled it in a court of law due to supporters group involvement ... no new application needed .. next FA meeting in a couple of weeks .. where do you think this is going ?
If you bother to read the pdf you will see that consultation with supporters is seen as the most pivotal reason for accepting a name change or not. Strange how Ehab went on Humberside to say that his "ballot" wasn't designed to try and influence the FA but simply a chance for the fans to show their support for the Allam's, yet they rushed the results to the FA so that it could be considered for the full vote. The shambolic nature of the ballot and the ballot questions were easily seen through by the FA. Every aspect of their application has been ridiculed, the only reason the decision was set aside was because one person didn't declare a conflict of interest. Every arguement the club made, other than this one, was rejected.
If the future of football is "supporters" like you it is time to jack it all in. Of course it is different.
you are wrong on several counts. the fa do not need to reconsider the original application. the allams need to reapply. this: "they have dispelled it in a court of law due to supporters group involvement" is patent nonsense.
This is a sad reflection of our pathetic fanbase that there are some people who think this is a good idea. At no other club in this league would this happen.
It would seem most of the media headlines have a more optimistic outlook for the name change possibility as a result of today's ruling. "Hull City owner edges step closer to controversial name change" - Daily Express "Arbitration panel opens door for Hull City change to Tigers" - Yorkshire Post "Hull Tigers name change not ruled out after panel sets aside FA decision" - ESPN FC "Hull City can resubmit bid to change club's name to Hull Tigers, FA panel rules" - Talksport
An alternative COTM for you Hattie. Rather than Dr Allam, how about nominating the FA Arbitration Panel?
Well to be fair there were a few Cardiff fans who went along with the lucky red idea. Nice to see Mr Tan coming to his senses.
Based on the rules, the arbitration panel did the right thing. It doesn't alter the fact that they thought the original application didn't meet the necessary criteria and I can't see that changing any time soon.
You obviously haven't read it if you think it was "dispelled in a court of law due to supporters group involvement" - the complete opposite is true. Once again you've got it horribly wrong dotty. Law of averages says you must get something right soon, surely.
Why not read paragraph 95. The original application is dead. The panel said if he wants to change the name he must make a new application next season. Next season we will be Hull City. If he wants to change our name he has to ballot the supporters and present a business case to the FA. Interesting times.
Same old ****ing bullshit ain't it Big game coming up name change bollox FFS haven't we got enough of a battle on our hands without infighting. It'll be interesting to see come Sunday Allam just revels in discord
